Hopkins will keep coming back from their 5 game losing streak

They started off 3-0 but went into a 5 game skid when their schedule got tough. Now they are on another 4-0 run and their key players are getting back into the mix. They just came off a 16-9 win over Towson and are getting hotter with each game.

All-Americans like Paul Rabil, Kevin Huntley and Steven Boyle are hge factors in their season and youngsters like Michael Doneger are important to improve the evolution of this team.

They are playing in the home of then nine time lacrosse champoins and they have no sign of slowing down..........


Good to see you again Coltslaxer! I can't see Hopkins continuing what they have done. The rest of the schedule is soft, but they have proven they cannot hang with the big dogs this year. They were embarrased by Sycruse (at home); North Carolina (at home). They are 0 -3 against top 5 teams this year (Cuse, Duke, Virgina). I do see them doing well down the pipe, but the tourny is going to chew them up, and spit them out.


First of all there next two games are quite easy (unranked Mt. St. Mary's and Loyloa) and they should be able to end off the season with 5 straight wins going into the playoffs. As we remember last year, they ended the season with 9 straight wins and they were in the same position as they are in right now. So we can't rule out anything.


Loyola is still a good squad. They have a great freshman Keeper in Hagelin, and they are on a three game tear of their own.

The big issue is that I don't think Hopkins has what it takes to hang with elite this year. They have some resolve, but I don't see them as the dominate team they have been in the best, and this year the talent is spread well with OSU, Cuse, NC, all showing some great players and strong teams.

And if you want to drag out 9 NC Wins, let's talk about the 8 NC losses to...


First of all everyobody thought this of Hopkins last year and the curse seems to continue.....

Hopkins started off the season 4-4 and everyone ruled them out of even making it to the playoffs!!!!!! And here they are our reigning national champions!!!!!!! And plus, Ohio State has talent you are saying.....no sorry they have nothing.......

And you're so called talented teams aren't even the best. UNC and OSU are not that great when you look at teams like Duke. Hmmmm.... You seem to have forgot them.....

LOL...I had to take a stab at is Coltslaxer32...no one else had the guts to take a LAX TD. I only know a little bit about the sport, but I'm a 'growing fan' as they say. I still don't think that Hopkins has the power to go all the way this year. To much talent across the board in the playoffs.

Nice work on the TD though, I'm will beat you someday. LOL
