2008 NFL Division Champions

AFC EAST: Patriots
AFC NORTH: BROWNS
AFC SOUTH: COLTS
AFC WEST: Chargers
NFC EAST: Cowboys
NFC NORTH:PACKERS
NFC SOUTH: Saints
NFC WEST: Cardinals

Who do you have different, and why?

AFC EAST: Patriots
AFC NORTH: Steelers
AFC SOUTH: Colts
AFC WEST: Chargers
NFC EAST: Cowboys
NFC NORTH: Vikings
NFC SOUTH: Buccaneers
NFC WEST: Seahawks

I like the borwns because they have alll the right pieces in all the rights places finally. The steelers need to address WR in the draft as Hines aint gettin younger.

The Vikings cant ride A.P.'s shoulders all the way to a division title. They need more playmakers to draw attention away from him.

Even without Favre, all Rodger's has to do is get behind the wheel or a high performance machine and avoid crashing it into the wall.

The Buccaneers are a mess. I cant name most of their skill players off the top of my head and Garcia needs solid backup. Whats up with RB postion down there?
The Saints had a sophomore slump and will rebound. Vilma gives them a solid defender on the inside.
The Seahawks time has come and gone. Once AZ picks up a decent RB in the draft, probably J. Stewart or Ray Rice, their offense could be set for a while and should be able to score enough points to take pressure off their D.

Well of course I basicly copied last years standings.....Those teams have the edge and I really don't see any of them falling from the top except Green bay.

The Thing with green bay is losing Bret Farve is a big deal. You truly don't know how Rodgers is going to do as the starter. The Vikings are going to build on there good season last year and they just got an upgrade on defense which was already good in allen. Minnesota has the edge bc they have a better defense then green bay and there offense is better unless rodgers can prove otherwise because Peterson is going to build on last year as will their QB Jackson.

The Steelers are going to come out of a weak division...Baltimore and cincy should bounce back and the browns will be better but its still not enough to compete with the steelers.

The Seahawks haven't had any competition in years and no one has done anything so far to make a case again this year.

The patriots, chargers and colts are locks, and the cowboys have to much talent to lose that division.

The Buccaneers defense again will lead them to another division title.

I dont see the Bucs D stopping a fully functional and healthy Saints O this year.
Please explain to me how, even with Jared Allen, the Viking D is better than Green Bay? Last I checked, Green Bay was SOLID across the front 7 and had the hardest hitting secondary in the league.

The Seahawks havent had any competition because they had the luxury of a roster full of veterans in their prime combined with a division fully of rebuilding teams. That changes this season as their vets age and Zona matures.

Well you still failed to show me how the cardinals and Browns are going to win, because saying Hines ward is old and the seahawks are old are not good arguments, but moving on.

Ok so you packers are so strong with their front 7? Well Minnesota only allowed 74.1 ypc on defense. #1 in the league while Green bay was 14th...yes Green bay had a better pass defense but again with the addition of Allen they will be able to put more pressure on the QB and force more turnovers and incompletion's. Now for offense Green bay lived by the pass. So with Brett gone do you really think Rodgers can duplicate those numbers? No, and there running game was nothing until the playoffs. So we really don't even know if that is solid. Minnesota lived by the run and we know they can still do that. They may not get the big down the field passes but they get first downs. So with everything together Minnesota has the edge over Green bay.

Tampa bay had the #2 defense last year and thats how they win games.and the saints defense was so bad and did get better but not enough to say they will win the division...maybe a wild card.

Wow, right really went out on a limb there. 7 of the 8 identical to last year, and the one who isn't really couldn't be considered an upset pick.

U-M basically copied last year's standings with the execption of Minnesota who is predicted to come in about 2nd anyway.

Thats cool, I didnt ask for surprises, I just asked for what they thought was different and then state why. I'm sure as soon as he's done emailing everyone on his friends list asking them to vote for him he'll post an argument.

haha, hey at least now you have an excuse for losing right? i mean it can't be because of your lack of sports knowledge....I mean come on the cardinals and browns? I could just do picks and skip all my arguments and beat u.

Aaron Rodgers will have a TOUGH time filling the shoes of a Hall Of Famer. How would it not be a big deal? Also, I don't think Peterson is that good either... He is a system running back, but he fits into the Vikings system. Their only problem now is the Pass Blocking, and the Secondary. The Packers need their QB to do well. So right now, it is a toss-up.
