Wow, that took a while. Good luck.

David Garrard did much more than Drew Brees with less talent. Adding to that, Garrard was also in a much tougher league. Garrard wasn't the number one quarterback the whole season but he still came up with 2,509 yards. He would have been on pace for 5,000 if he would have had as many attempts as Brees. Brees had 4,423 yards.

Marques Colston was targeted almost 60 more times than Jennings last year and Jennings still had one more touchdown than Colston. Jennings was also fourth in the league in YPR average with 17.4, better than Colston's 12.3.

Even though Owen Daniels had five more catches than Dallas Clark, he only got into the endzone just three times, much less than Clark's 11 touchdowns. Clark also lead the league in touchdowns by a tight end.

William Thomas may be a little smaller than Bryant McKinnie but Thomas is much more aggressive and he led Brian Westbrook to a great year. McKinnie blocked for Adrian Peterson but he had tons of help blocking.

Elvis Dumervil had two more sacks than Andre Carter but he only recorded 39 tackles. Defensive Ends are supposed to get tackles and that is why Carter is better with 55 tackles.

Garrard did not do "much more" than Drew Brees. Brees threw for more yards, touchdowns, and had more yards per game. Garrard played in 4 less games, yes, but Brees played in the same division as the team with the NFL's best pass defense, the Tampa Bay Bucs! SAME DIVISION, yet Brees put up insane numbers!

Colston was targeted more, I know. But Jennings had a Pro Bowl QB (Brett Favre) yet still couldn't manage 1,000 yards. His QB threw for more than 4,000 yards like Brees.

Daniels had more catches and yards. He also averaged more yards per catch, 12.2 to 10.6. Daniels had less TDs because he played with a ton of quarterbacks none of whom were very good, unlike Clark who had a guy named Peyton Manning.

Can you show me some proof on how Thomas is more aggressive? How do you know this? Did you make up facts? McKinnie blocked for AP and AP loved running behind him.

A DE's job is to pressure the QB, not "get tackles" as you say. And Dumervil did a better job.

Brees had many more oppurunities to get tons of stats but he didn't lead the league in passing, even with his league high attempts. The Buccs are pretty good in the secondary but Brees only had to face them two times. Are you saying that if the Buccs weren't in his division, he would gain those 600 yards to be even with Garrard?

Colston was the only threat on that team so he got tons of targets. Jennings should have been able to get mopre yards with Favre throwing to him? Maybe, if his scenary was like Colston's where he didn't have to share the ball with star reciever Donald Driver.

If Daniels had a bad quarterback, why do three more people on his team have more touchdowns that him? Even though Clark was with Manning, Reggie Wayne and Joseph Addai took away some stats.

McKinnie had tons of help blocking for AD, it's pretty easy to make an 1,000 yard rusher when you have Steve Hutchinson right beside you.

Any defensive player needs to get tackles. Whether you are a DE or a LB, you need to get tackles. Dumervil only had two more sacks than Carter but Carter had way more tackles, 16 more to be exact.

Forfeited Turn

That only took . . . let me see . . . forever

It's Will Witherspoon.

I like the Rhodes pick, I can't believe he didn't get into the Pro Bowl. Atogwe should have made it too, he is an underated player.

You could put Ben Roethlisberger at QB but that is the only pick I am unsure about

Report Offensive Comment

Shaun Rogers made the Pro Bowl but I guess that doesn't matter, I only know that because I am a Lions fan, they put him in as a last second subsitution.

Report Offensive Comment

Really? I didn't see that. Leave Robbins in there, then.

AAAAAAAAAHHH!

Report Offensive Comment

It was nothing, I just wanted to comment . . .

Spomeone cpould have picked Brady as QB, he was selected to the PB, but dropped out cuz the cry baby didnt want to face "embarrassment" at having lsot the SB the week before...him and Moss both dropped out

Report Offensive Comment

monumental arguments for both, but the lack fo a 3rd rebuttal by erwin makes me vote left...excuse the typos on my previous comment, i cant type today

Report Offensive Comment

Neither of you have Angelo Crowell? Sad.

Report Offensive Comment

Both of you should have had Trent Cole there. Anyways, I'll vote left. He has a bit better team, and I just can't vote for someone who forfeited a turn.

Since Erwin lost, he will now be humiliated by a winner from the top 8.
