Well looks like the only difference we have is #4 and #5.

I believe Shaq deserves #4 because of his championships and playoff dominance. He has 4 championships and he was MVP for 3 of those finals. He averages 26.6 ppg and 12.5 rpg in the playoffs. He is the big force that leads teams to championships. He wasn't just a playoff performer. He averaged 25.2 ppg and 11.5 rpg to go along with 14 All star games. He only won MVP once, but that doesn't show his true dominance in the league. His championships do. He also won NBA rookie of the year.

Moses Malone was a great player who played against some of the best in the game. He averaged 20.6 ppg and 12.2 rpg. He improved those stats in the playoffs going 22.1 ppg and 13.8 rpg. This to go along with 1 championship. He was MVP 3 times and in his only championship he was the MVP. He is on the NBAs 50th anniversary team, and he made 12 all stars. Moses Malone was not just a scorer or rebounder as he averaged more then a steal, assist and block a game. He was a great shooter ending his career at almost 50% shooting from the field.

These guys are deserving of the top 5, and theirs no question that Shaq deserves #4 and Moses deserves #5.

I will paraphrase Will Purdue. When asked who the toughest Center to guard he ever faced:

His answer:

Hakeem Olajuwan. Patrick Ewing would do the same 3 step move across the lane that you'd swear was a travel but was never called. All Shaq did was lower his shoulder. It was hard to stop, but you knew exactly what was coming. Hakeem would just make you look stupid. He had so many moves he was impossible to defend.

My point for this agruement is that Hakeem had more moves than Oneal had. Hakeen also never had a great star player next to him like shaq did.

Hakeem did have a star player with him. I hope you've heard of Clyde Drexler. So that point is mute. As for Hakeem being better then Shaq, the numbers show other wise. Shaq averaged more points, won more championships and got MVP in the finals 3 out of 4 times. Their is no question Shaq deserves to be #4 and I don't see any stat that will say other wise.

Moses Malone may have one less championship then Hakeem, but I feel that he put up great stats playing against better competition. He had to play against the great such has Magic, Kareem, Wilkins and Bird. He had many great players and I feel that back then their was more hall of fame players for him to face at the same position or Forward. Hakeem was a great player but Moses showed how he can handle the stars and still get a championship.

Hakeem should not be ahead of Shaq because he has more moves and he shouldn't be ahead of Malone for the same reason.
