1st argument state what will happen in a sentence.

Golden Boy in a decision win.

De La Hoya in a 4th round KO.

I know the Contender show is kind of a joke for boxing but Forbes was in the final match. He has a nice style. Forbes and Ricardo Mayorga are totally different boxers. I was using that to talk about your 4th round knockout. Forbes has a 32-5 record. I know Oscar is trying to go in their and win and then fight "Pretty Boy" in September. Forbes is no push over. De La Hoya should win easy on points but a 4th round knockout is a little far fetched and your underestimating Forbes. De La Hoya will dominate the fight but I don't see a knockout. Forbes can take some blows.

Yes, Forbes was in the finals of year two of the made for TV "contender". And yes, it's a joke.

That said, he LOST in that final match. On the made for television show, I mean.

Oscar will make short work of this nobody. He's on his farewell tour and this is his last tune up before one or two last big fights before calling it a career. His stated intention is to knock Forbes out as early as possible and that's exactly what will happen. I may have even been generous giving the kid 4 rounds.

Since "The Contender" Forbes has fought twice. Losing to Demetrius Hopkins (who?) and beating Francisco Bojado (who?)

The guy is fighting WAY out of his league here. He'll be awestruck and KOed within 4!

I may have even been generous giving the kid 4 rounds. Cowboys-Celtics-Chisox said

*You might be right on a knockout BUT NOT by the 4th round. A late knockout in the 8th or later rounds would've been a better argument. You didn't say that so your off*

I know De La Hoya's focus is on MAYWEATHER but Forbes is conservative and a good defensive fighter. De La Hoya will win for sure but 4th round knockout is giving the journey man Forbes NO CREDIT. Forbes isn't that bad. Oscar picked to fight him for a reason and HE WOUDN"T have picked him if he thought it would BE A EASY CAKE WALK. De La Hoya should punish Forbes but a 4th round knockout is NOT going to happen.

Steve Forbes, a former super featherweight champion and finalist on "The Contender," who has never been knocked down in 11 years as a professional, Forbes will be making his HBO debut under the tutelage of Mayweather Sr.'s brother, Jeff Mayweather.
thanks to hbo.com

Forbes hasn't been knocked down in 11 years! With that being said i don't think Golden Boy will deliver the 4th round knockout your calling Cowboy.

Come on. You have a nobody that was hand picked by Oscar to be his punching bag, here.

Remember his last tune-up? Oscar was given all he could handle. As his own promoter he hand picked a tin can with a name.

Oscar knows this is the end. Dude has 3 fights left then he's hanging up the gloves. He wouldn't risk that by facing a guy he can't KO in 4.

38-5 with 30 KO's. This thing ain't going the distance as you predict. If it does, Golden boy need not fight again.

Forbes is a NOBODY that will be easily dismissed by Oscar within 4. De La Hoya knows exactly what he's doing here. This isn't supposed to be a test, it's supposed to be someone with a similar style to Mayweather who he can beat upon. That's exactly what will happen.

Golden Boy in 4! Write it down.

Forbes and Ricardo Mayorga are totally different boxers. I was using that to talk about your 4th round knockout

THAT BEING SAID, RICARDO WAS KNOCKED OUT ON CINCO DE MAYO BY GOLDEN BOY IN THE 5TH OR 4TH ROUND. FORBES IS A BETTER FIGHTER THAN MAYORGA BY A HAIR IN MY OPINION.

Forbes being a calmer figher. Forbes has boxing form and Mayorga swings for the fences living openings to get ROCKED.

De La Hoya by knockout. Not in the 4th round though, maybe by the 10th.
