In this, I will have to chose the too-much-hype Matt Ryan.
In college, Matt Ryan had great success, throwing for 4507 yards and 31 TDs in his Senior Year. But he also threw 19 INTs- That's more than the top two DBs in picks had COMBINED! Plus, at Boson College, he actually had some PROTECTION with Gosder Cerilus, All-ACC Second Team, Allowed 5th least Tackles for Lose in the nation. In Atlanta he has Todd McLure anchoring the O-Line, and I know that he can't take another solid year, because he's been going up against 300 pound men for 121 games over 10 years! He can't take much more of that, I know. Matt doesn't have any offensive line in Atlanta.
He'll throw for so many INTs in Atlanta while being pressured by Cado June in week two, Glenn Dorsey in week three, Aaron Kampman, and A.J. Hawk in week five, Tommie Harris, Brian Urlacher, and Lance Briggs in week 6, Trent Cole in week 8, Warren Sapp in week 9, John Lynch in week 11, Glenn Dorsey (again) in week 13, Cado June(again) in week 15, and Jared Long in week 16.
I'm running out of room now, more to come.
Disagree?
Throwdown.
Contradict me, if you dare!
Good luck, whoever you are!

First of all Matt Ryan won't be pressured by Glenn Dorsey twice this year. Dorsey was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs who only play Atlanta once this year.
As far as Ryan having a lack of protection, the Falcons addressed that by trading for a second first round pick and selecting Sam Baker, and OT out of USC. The Falcons also signed free agent Alex Stepanovich, a center who has started 34 games in the last 4 years. These two additions along with the offensive lineman who remain on the roster should give Matt Ryan some solid protection in the pocket.
My pick for the biggest bust is Joe Flacco. The Ravens jumped the gun and reached for Flacco in the first round at number 18. The Ravens didn't need to trade up to take him. In Baltimore Flacco will be the starter from day one, as his backup, Kyle Boller has already proven that he isn't starter material in the NFL.
Flacco will be under just as much pressure from opposing defensive players. His schedule includes the Super Bowl Champion Giants whose defense led the league in sacks last year.
The bottom line is Matt Ryan has the better arm and will do better in the NFL then Flacco.
Good luck.

biggest bust? alittle to soon to predict eh? Have u noticed that in the division that Atlanta is in whoever is in last place the year before goes on to win the division the year after? It could be the same this year, football is unpredictable, and Matt Ryan could be the next Dan Marino all we know is to early to predict this give it a lil bit of time at least pre season

I say Matt Ryan is gonna be the biggest bust. 3rd overall, and supposed to be the savior for Atlanta. Gonna be hard to live up to Michael Vick, like him or not. But you can put that Marino stuff to bed right now.

Flacco was taken way to early and personally I would rather have Chad Henne

It's impossibly early to tell, but I'd say Flacco too. I think he was the overrated one coming into the draft, not Ryan.

Ryan doesn't have the better arm. Just about every scout will tell you Flacco had the stronger arm out of the top prospects.

I don't think the Ravens tough schedule will matter too much for Flacco since he won't start right away, and Ryan will probably be starting no later than the 4th or 5th week.
