The Chicago Bulls are a better pick for Mike D'Antoni. That is, if he wants to get to the playoffs. Let's look at the reasons why I chose the Bulls:
* D'Antoni likes to play high scoring basketball. The Bulls are athletic, quick, and young. They have shooters in Gordon, Deng, Nocioni, Hughes, Hinrich, and Duhon. They can all knock down the three consistently, required in a high powered offense like the one he ran in Phoenix.
* D'Antoni is more offensive minded than defensive. We all know that, and given the fact that the Chicago Bulls are a better Denfensive team than the New York Knicks, there will be a bit less pressure to rely on just their offense, if he coached the Bulls. This is something D'Antoni will like.
* Although the Bulls were not as good as the Suns on offense, but they were better defensively. Based on this fact, if the Bulls can play high offense with their defense now in the East, they will make the playoffs next season.
* Even though the Knicks may be able to play a high tempo offense as much as the Bulls can, the chemistry and defense as a team, is much better on the Chicago Bulls.
Its easy to see the Bulls are the better choice as a coaching job for Mike.

I think the Bulls are a better fit but since u said them ill argue for the Knicks. The Knicks have a lot of ? on there team and need to make some changes and need to get some trades done. The Knicks orgainization want to build toward a title seeing in how theyre always making changes to the team and coaches. D'Antoni was able to build the Suns from bottom of the West to the top so he could do the same with the Knicks. The Knicks also have a good chance of getting one of the top two picks and getting either Michael Beasley or Derrick Rose. D'Antoni might like the oppurtunity of building a team up. D'Antoni is a good choice and the Knicks would love to get him. Personally I think he should stay with the Suns rather than going to the Knicks or the Bulls. But in the throwdown im going to take the Knicks

The Knicks do and will probably make some changes. But the general manager and owners are the ones that pull that stuff off, not the coaches. I'm very sure the Chicago Bulls organization also want to build toward a title. I'm also sure the Bulls are closer to a title than the Knicks. Seeing that every coach wants to win a title, I think D'Antoni knows that he is better off with the Bulls in that regard.
Yes, the Knicks may recieve one of the top two picks but this is no guarantee. The Bulls would also love to get D'Antoni, but im not so sure if he would like to re build the Knicks, which is kind of hard considering they are WAY OVER the salary cap. I think he would rather tweak things in Chicago, where he has more chances of winning now. D'Antoni is a good choice for the Bulls and Knicks, but the Bulls are a better choice for Mike D'Antoni.

The Bulls are also interviewing Avery Johnson so that might be the person they go with over D'Antoni. The Knicks really want D'Antoni and they will be willing to offer more money than the Bulls. The Bulls arent as close to winning a title as u may think. No team in the East that missed out on the playoffs are close to winning an NBA title. Either way hes going to have to build the teams up. D'Antoni is a great coach and he could be the person that is able to get the Knicks back to one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. At the begging of the season a lot of people were sayin the Knicks had a chance of making the playoffs. The Knicks have a lot of talent on that team and if D'Antoni could get the players to get over there egos and play like a team the Knicks could be in the playoffs next season. I belive he can do that for the Knicks

Well let me start this argument by stating that various sources have reported that Mike D'Antoni has had successful interviews with the Chicago Bulls coach interviewers (or whatever they're called). It is also said that the only thing that might interfere with this going down is the money.
As for the Knicks it appears D'Antoni has gone off their radar. A report on ESPN NEWS stated that they are currently in the works (interviewing) with Avery Johnson.
Regardless, the Chicago Bulls are a better option for coaching than the New York Knicks. Like I previously stated, the Bulls are more than capable of playing an up-tempo style with their respectable roster, than the Knicks, and capable of playing better defensively also. This is something Mike will take into hand, and choose wisely. No disrespect but, NOBODY is 'wise' if they want to coach the Knicks (sarcastically speaking, or not). And the Bulls are in a better position of making the playoffs, which you need to be in, if you want any chance of winning the title. Im sure thats what Mike and the Bulls will be after, so eliminate the Knicks off Mikes list, because they have a better chance of being in the lottery, than the playoffs.

I told u i thought the Bulls was were he would go but since u picked the Bulls for the sake of the tournamnet i had to make an argument for the Knicks. The Knicks really want to get back to the playoffs and become championship contenders and Donnie Walsh and the rest of the Knicks organization will try there best to give D'Antoni the players that he needs. The first move toward the playoffs for the Knicks is hiring a good coach and it appears that they are trying to do just that. Then they can make moves to make that dream a reality. They need to clear some cap room by making some trades like dealing Stephon Marbury for starters. They have talent on that team but they have too many selfish players. They need to get a PG that can lead them. They need to try to get Derrick Rose in the draft and that will give them a young guy to build the franchise around. D'Antoni is a really good coach and he could be the person to get the Knicks back on top.
