to me yes because the jazz can't handle the laker, Kobe bryant have someone big that the jazz won't able to stop and that pau gasol.
The Bandit said 05/07, 03:17 PM
Lakers to sweep the Jazz? I highly doubt it.
First off, the Jazz are too good and too talented of a team to be swept in any series during the NBA's current playoffs.
ALL the Jazz have to do is win one game is your argument is out the window, I think I'll take my chances with Boozer and company on at least getting one victory.
The Jazz are 37-4 at home this year, That's the BEST home record in the NBA this season..and surprisingly one of the teams they beat were the Lakers..by a convincing 24 points I might add.
The Lakers are good, I give them credit, but I don't think it'll be a walk in the park against a well coached Utah Jazz squad. Kobe's squad are likely to win the series, but the Jazz will make them sweat for it. With talented players like Boozer and Deron Williams, along with AK47's hustle as well as grit..it's hard to imagine them folding so easily.
Kobe is the MVP, and although he may carry the Lakers, things will be a lot different when they go on the road where the Jazz will bring out their swagger and show why they are the NBA's best home team.
It's ONLY one game.all LA did was protect their Homecourt, nothing more. Being up 1-0 doesn't mean a sweep.

The reason it going to be the swept is because phill jackson got sloan (jazz's coach) number in the playoff ever since phill was with the bull. on the other the jazz have a good talent , but it the same talent will was when the jazz had john shockton and karl malone
also with jazz best home record is different its come to the playoff .
It will be sursprise if i got myself check if the game was not a swept.

Hmm..so Phil Jackson has Sloan's number huh. Well he might have Sloan's number but i believe this TD is about the Jazz getting swept by the Lakers during this 2nd round matchup.
As I recall, Jackson being the Bulls coach back then may have defeated Sloan's Jazz squad twice in the NBA Finals but guess what...it WAS NOT a sweep. The Jazz may have lost both Finals in 6 games..BUT they have been at least able to attain at least 2 victories in both those championship series. So a sweep by Phil Jackson wasn't in the cards then..and it won't be now. Jazz will win at least one game, if not a couple.
Lakers swept the Nuggets.. and why? Because the Nuggets have a very poor defense and has allowed a plethora of points to opposing teams throughout the season.
Nuggets have allowed 107 PPG average to opposing teams during the reg. season.
Jazz allowed 99.3...considerable difference.
The Jazz have a much better defense and should only play better when they host at home. In addition, they have a squad who can provide a well balanced scoring. 6 players in double figures in Game1 despite the loss, but it goes to show anyone on that squad can provide the points at any time.

3 reason it going to be a swept, the laker won't let boozer and d-will score in the paint.
phill jackson know sloan so long he going to swept his team for the first no question about that.
there may be 100% i going to lose this TD ,but it may be to early to tell if going to be a swept.
The Bandit said 05/07, 04:17 PM
You said it yourself in that it may be too early to tell if it's going to be a sweep by the Lakers. BTW, it is "sweep" and not "swept" due to the fact that it hasn't actually happened yet. If the Lakers win 4 straight in this series, then you can say the Jazz got "swept". I hope that helps.
The Lakers are only up 1-0. Nothing to get excited about. If they were up 3-0, then yes, it is likely they will sweep the Jazz. But only time will tell.
Boozer will get his points one way or the other..just like Kobe will get his. The Jazz score much more at home at an average of 109 PPG. One of the biggest reasons why they are 37-4 at the Delta Center. Not only will the Lakers have to deal with the tough crowd, but role players like Okur and Korver can provide the much needed scoring spark.
Sloan is one of the more consistent coaches in the game, and his experience as well as knowledge can provide a key element in hopes of the Jazz being victorious.
The Jazz are a very resilient team who can mount a comeback at any point in the game. To put it simple terms...the Jazz will rebound at home with one, if not two victories, but it it likely that the Lakers will win the series.
