Cain-Willis. In & Out... said 05/08, 09:39 AM
Is it possible that the whole story isn't out yet? Is it fair to pronounce guilt of a person when you only know some things about the story? Sure, things look bad for Marvin Harrison, but don't be so fast to jump to conclusions. In America it's innocent until proven guilty. I know the court of public opinion never waits, but people's perception of someone, could unfairly ruin his/her life and the lives of his kids and grandkids.

I know it aint finish yet but everyone thinking he did it , i even saw on ESPN today how Goodell is all sad that a hofer had to go out like that, and the gun was a special gun too not a normal one, thats what my cousind told me. so why he got a special gun like that? and it matched exactly too!
if he didn shoot it, he let some foo borrow it, and he still guilty cause of that.
Cain-Willis. In & Out... said 05/08, 09:51 AM
So you're determined that Harrison is guilty of something, yet you're not certain WHAT he's freakin' guilty of? Thats ignorant man.
You say he shot the gun, that makes him guilty, Or he let some "foo" borrow it, and that makes him guilty of that instead? Don't be running around all ignorant-like buddy, judging a man's guilt or innocence on what your cousin said or what you seen on ESPN.(god knows they've both been wrong before)
Let the law take it course man. Running around and bumping your gums about a situation you've only heard about from afar is irresponsible, and pronouncing guilt is weak and stupid.
GA BaIIerz said 05/08, 09:55 AM
man, you like that other dude from yesterday night, why you gotta call me out? I aint ignorant i just think he guilty....that unfair of you!
and yea if he shot it he guilty and if he borrowed it to some foo he should be guilty too cause it he responisibility!!!
people said clemens was guilty, and many people defend him but now we seeing he really is, so you got nothing to defend him on when all thes evidences say harrison is guilty that why his gun was got by the police and he is suspect and questioned to!
and my cousin is smartert than you too!
Cain-Willis. In & Out... said 05/08, 10:08 AM
Harrison IS a suspect. There are many suspects that turn out to be nothing more than suspects. Don't you watch CSI? Dude, usually the first suspects turn out to be innocent. Even in real life, suspects are people who COULD have done it, but suspects often turn out to be innocent.
Havn't you heard of lynchings? Hangings? In earlier America, the law wasn't always given a chance to do it's thing. If people thought they caught the perp, they simply hung him to death from a tree. Many innocent people were killed. There was no trial, no listening to both sides of the story. Jumping to conclusions about guilt of a suspect is irresponsible and dangerous. That is something that America has tried to change for many, many years.
Hell, if guilt or innocence is ONLY what the public thinks it is at the moment, what is the point of having judges, courtrooms, lawyers, and a persons rights? You are making yourself look bad, by throwing out your claim of guilt, based on second or third-hand information. Let the law figure it out.
If you don't like due process of law, then move to a communist country, ok?

And Willis waits in the shadows and waits. Then, yet another drunk, illiterate, retarded, third grader stumbles in front of his alley. Willis pounces! Kicks the moron over and a thrusts his fists in the air triumphantly. Victory is his.

If Pacman was guilty before proven innocent, then so is Marvin Harrison. Hell, this is worse, at least Pacman didn't physically shoot at somebody...

Maybe that is a little extreme, but it's nice to see a non-Bengal in the headlines for doing something stupid

My point is, at times like in the early west, suspects were hung if they were even THOUGHT to be guilty. Due process of law is a wonderful thing. Both sides have a story, ALL the evidance must be collected, ALL the witnesses must be talked too. If you are going to jump to the conclusion of guilt, you may as well throw out the whole 'court and law' thingy.

Willis, however idealistic you may be, that is not the way the world works. It is the public' role to put a blindfold on and start pointing fingers. That is why I keep a "Jump to Conclusions" mat in my cubicle, so that whenever a potentially incriminating (and totally unsubstantiated) story comes out, I can just close my eyes and jump to whatever conclusion fate guides me to....
