Your picks are very original. Or not.
Come on, you can do better than that. You simply looked at the MVP voting for this year, and chose the following 5 guys, as voted?!?!?
Wow, that's pretty unoriginal.
Look at the list of MVP votes:
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/basketball/nba/05/06/kobe.mvp.ap/index.html
You just picked the 5 guys after Kobe!!!!!!!
Ok, I'm going to be more original than that.
I agree with your first 4 picks, but in 5th place I'll put Steve Nash instead of Amare Stoudemire.
Have you ever noticed that when Steve Nash isn't on the floor, the Suns lose? That's true, the Suns actually depend more on Steve Nash, than any other player.
Nash was an All-Star again this year, averaging 16.9 PPG, 11.1 assists, while shooting a very respectable .504 from the floor.
He also shot a very consistent 0.906 from the charity stripe.
He's arguably the leader of the Phoenix Suns.

Yeah.Arguably,to Amare Stoudemaire.Amare leads Nash in rebounds,PPG,blocks, and steve nash averages over one turnover more than Amare

Amare Stoudemire probably had better overall stats this season, than Steve Nash did. That's probably why he had more votes in the MVP voting, LOL.
But Steve Nash is still more important to the Suns. Like I said, compare the Suns' record when Nash isn't playing, and when he's playing.
You'll clearly see that the team needs Nash more. The offense starts with him, and he's still one of the best Point Guards in the league.

Forfeited Turn

Ok, a forfeit on your part.
Steve Nash, the two-time MVP is the guy that should be the 6th candidate for MVP this season. Although he is 34, he's still one of the top Point Guards in the league, a savvy veteran with a good knowledge of the game, what people usually refer to as a high basketball IQ.
Besides, he was elected a member of the All-NBA's 2nd team this year, clearly deserving the spot on the MVP voting which I'm defending here.

Report Offensive Commentof course stoudimire has better stats in ppg because he takes way more shots nash takes about 10 a game and makes like 6 or 7 of them he makes most of his shot while getting about 10 assist that is a great stat line and um Nash is the reason y amare has the open lanes cause when he drives he is liable to make the layup so the center and powerfoward have to pull back and Nash passes out and Stoudimire makes the shot. Obviously nash did most of the work.
