Tony Perez vs Eddie Murray, you have the edge in stats there.

Joe Morgan and Jeff Kent are similar in stats,Morgan won 2 MVP's to Kent's 1 breakout season in 2000,and Morgan had 689 Stolen bases.

Pete Rose vs Howard Johnson:Self explanitory

Dave Concepcion over Jose Reyes because Reyes hasn't played long,Concepcion was the leagues probable second best SS(Ozzie Smith).

Johnny Bench: 267 avg ,1376 RBIs,476 SLG,342 OBP,10 consecutive gold gloves, arguable best defensive catcher of all time
Gary Carter: 262 avg,439 SLG 3 gold gloves 324 HRs 335 OBP (forgot RBI)

Sam Crawford had excellent stats in the dead ball era:309 3B,309 avg,458 2B,452 SLG,362 OBP,366 SB,1525 RBI,1391 runs

Duke Snider:85 3B,295 avg,358 2B,(he had better slg),OBP was close,Snider might have had edge,1333 RBI,,1259 runs

Now the interesting one,The say hey kid,vs the kid.

Jr has 63 less homers in a few less seasons. They are both two of the greatest defensive players of all time. They both were 5 too players, but Mays had 2 prime years taken away from him during the war.

Frank Robinson blows away Richie Ashburn in the stats.

Pitching in next,(not enough room)

Forfeited Turn

I'll just let this go on to your next arg.

Considering the Reds have been around for almost 100 more years...

Good thing I'm a Mets fan...

Report Offensive Comment

I challenged dudeman to this, and he said he'd take it.

Report Offensive Comment

I accidentally have Sam Crawford twice,I'm leaving him as a LF and putting Barry Larkin as a utility player.

Report Offensive Comment

Barry Larkin really should be above Concepcion...

I tried this TD too, and found myself on the losing end. Good luck to you Danbash.

Report Offensive Comment

I have Dave Concepcion in front because he was one of the best defensive SS's of all time.

Report Offensive Comment

Agreed, but Larkin was an outstanding defensive SS as well, and was the best hitting SS of the 90's.

Report Offensive Comment

Yes he was,Concepcion was a consitent hitter, but nothing special, but he had quite a glove.

Report Offensive Comment

Too busy. I'll forfeit.

Report Offensive Comment

Alright, cool new Oden pic.And continues the love obsetion of Greg Oden on Danbash's part.

Report Offensive Comment

*obsession*

I know this is late, but Christy Mathewson managed the Reds, he pitched for the Superbas
