Pick-1st
Arguments-2nd and 3rd

My pick is...James Harvey, 2nd Round, #41 overall, Buffalo Bills.

My pick is going to be Matt Forte of the Chicago Bears.

Ole!

I meant James Hardy to everyone wondering who James Harvey was.

Other WR on the Buffalo Bills:
Lee Evans
Roscoe Perrish
Josh Reed
The rest are rookies or 2nd and 3rd year players.

James Hardy is going to get a lot of catches, and really help this Bills team exceed to its full potential. They have a good QB in Trent Edwards, who is going to give Hardy plenty of opportunites to succeed, and Hardy is going to take everyone of those opportunities.

Look for him to have about 5-10 TD with 650+ receiving yards this year.

He is destine for instant success. He will be playing a lot, and the Bills do need WR who will be able to catch the ball other than Lee Evans, and they found their man in James Hardy.

Matt Forte will have to probably back up Cedric Benson for the first couple of games, and depending on how Benson does, Forte will get his chance to succeed or not.

Right now, James Hardy has the better opportunity to succeed out of these two players.

Matt Forte isn't going to get a lot of catches either cuz Kyle Orton and Rex Grossman are horrible QBs. At least the Bills have decent QBs who aren't going to be run out of town soon.

Hardy-Biggest Impact

Umm, the Bears have practically a zero tolerance policy with behavioral issues, which has landed Cedric Benson in hot water. It wasn't as if Benson was successful when he did play either. Benson put up 674 yards on 196 carries last season, a paltry 3.4 yards per carry. Previous backup Adrian Peterson (the one from Georgia Southern) had the same average, but with 151 carries for 510 yards.

Forte should easily snare the job in training camp from those two perennial underachievers and will be the recipient of the 250-300 carries that the starter aught to get in that offense.

Also, a hidden benefit to Forte is that he's a good receiver and because the Bears have no vertical passing game to speak of, they're going to rely on a lot of dump-off passes, which will inflate Forte's receiving numbers.

Lone starters generally rush for more than the best running backs in tandem. Last year, Frank Gore had 1100 yards behind a **** line with no offense elsewhere, whilst Marion Barber, one of two backs in a platoon for Dallas had 975. This relates to Forte because he will be the lone starter, in Frank Gore's situation. Before you accuse me of cherrypicking that, Gore's knees were bad last year.

You think the Bears know who to pinpoint talent? Look at their quarterback situation right now. They have 2 quarterbacks and didn't even go for another one in the draft. PLus, the two they have now, suck beyond belief.

If the Bears have a zero tolerance policy with behavioral issues, why was Lance Briggs still on the team after his big fit that he had in the offseason last year? It doesn't look like the Bears have a zero tolerance policy with behavioral issues.

The Buffalo Bills need more WR for their team, and that is exactly what James Hardy is going to supply to them. The Bills will do well if all they have is some good WR. James Hardy is going to make the biggest INSTANT impact.

Cedric Benson and Adrian Peterson will get carries too. Don't be so sure that Forte will be the top running back, and will be getting all of the carries. Peterson helped out on offense and gave the Bears offense 510 yards that helped out. They are going to get carries along with Forte.

James Hardy is going to get a lot of catches, along with Evans. They need a good WR, which will help out scoring TD and getting yards.

James Hardy will make the biggest INSTANT impact this year.

Even the blind mouse finds the noob, Cheez. The Bears' past draft transgressions have netted them Bernard Berrian, Tommie Harris, Brian Urlacher, and Lance Briggs.

Forte's teammates won't get many carries because they both had the opportunity last year to take the reigns and they both failed. 3.4 yards per carry is good for 31st in the NFL last year. But. The Bears were actually worse, with 3.1 YPC, last in the NFL.

They addressed left tackle in round one, and got a road-grating tackle in Chris Williams. Then, behind him, they'll run Forte. They know they have two underachieving power backs, Forte gives them a dynamic ability to run inside or outside, being a shiftier, speedier runner.

Matt Forte's going to start in Chicago from the beginning and he's going to take the reins. 1000 yards is well within site, 10 TDs too. That's more of an impact than James Hardy will make.

James Harvey impact wil lhave ALOT to do with who ever the QB for buffalo is....Forte can make his OWN impact right off the bat

Here is my stand on it. The Bears needed to establish a running game, and I am not sure if Matt Forte was the answer. Thomas Jones was a hard nosed runner, who did well in the presense of Chicago. He did a very good job too. When Cedric Benson came in, he was a bum. He didn't doo much at all, but gain like 1 yard per carry. Matt Forte was not the correct choice for the Bears. They had the chance to take Rashard Mendenhall, and they didn't, when it was necessary. I think I would have went with him that way if it were the case. However, now going to the Bills. The Bills have only 1 true receiver, and the receiving game is where a team needs to be more versitile at, and that is what Harvey is going to bring in for them, if he starts as the #2 or #3 receiver. So I think I am going to take Dyhard's side on this one.

DFan, the offensive line was a more pressing need, with John Tait really being a right tackle who'd shifted to left...

I agree hemo, you have to have an O- line to actually run the ball successfully. Running backs that come in the later rounds have found just as much success as some of the early round guys. I think Kevin Smith will also have a good opputunity to do some things in Detroit. As for James Harvey( I guess we are going with that, huh)(ha ha) well reciever is a crap shoot as evidenced by none going in the first round. So we will see what he can do but I am not sure.
