D'Antoni made the right decision, Knicks over Bulls.

The Bulls are screwed, all their star players want to leave, Knicks can actually be a great team again if D'antoni coaches. Look, what he did with the Suns, He aquired raja bell and daiw, 2 guys that i never thought would be this good, Daiw in game 5, he was crazy. He also got Gricek, amazing 3 point shooter, He makes awesome trades for draft picks, the worst he probably made was Marion for Shaq. But that helped amare a lot, in his scoring stats.

And I'm expecting him to help rebuild The New York Knicks. I'll tell why on my next argument.

Good Luck!!

Honestly, I had a bit of trouble trying to understand what you were saying. He is a good coach. Most people expect that he could eventually make either team competitive, but it would be much easier for him if he were the coach of the Bulls.

Look at who the Bulls have. Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, etc. The entire cast is better than the Knicks team. In fact, the Knicks two most talented players might just be Stephon Marbury and Zach Randolph. They both have major attitude problems.

The Bulls are a better team, and they could definately contend next season, as long as they get their act together. The Knicks will not be able to contend for years. They are way over the cap, and they don't have a single player worthy of the money he is making. They have more talent, and they don't have any of the chemistry problems that players like Starbury cause in the locker room.

Besides, even if the Bulls did have to get rid of all of their best players, they could get a lot of talent back.

And a couple of things I must point out. They signed Giricek as a free agent, after the Sixers bought out his contract. And Steve Kerr, the Suns GM, made the Marion for Shaq trade, not Mikey.

If Marbury and Zach Randolph have attitude problems, trade them. I know mike's favorites r diaw and barbosa. How about Marbury for them. Marbury could go back to his old team. This is the knicks right now. This is what they should do.

Renaldo Balkman
Wilson Chandler
Mardy Collins
Jamal Crawford* 20.6ppg
Eddy Curry* 13.2ppg
Jerome James
Jared Jeffries
Fred Jones (3 point shooter)
David Lee* 8.9rpg and 10.8ppg
Stephon Marbury (trade him)
Randolph Morris
Zach Randolph * 17.6ppg
Quentin Richardson (trade him)
Nate Robinson (great back-up guard)
Malik Rose

I heard about that trade possibility, and it would be stupid and pretty much impossible for the Suns to do. Marbury would not be worth the 20 million against the cap. Who would they get back for him? Shaq? Amare? Any way they could make it work would be stupid for the Suns.

You can't just trade any player. You have to find a partner to trade with, and there is no way that anyone would trade for Zach Randolph.

The only major player that the Knicks really have worth keeping is Crawford, and he is probably a number three on an elite team, maybe ever the fourth best player.

This Knicks team really has no one to build around, and they will have to change basicly the entire roster if they ever want to repeat. If the Bulls want to be a top four team like they were last year, they just need to find one or two more pieces to help get them back there. The Bulls have the players to run the system that D'antoni likes, and the Knicks don't. The only advantage to the Knicks job was that he will make a little more money.

Forfeited Turn

I don't think there is anything left to say.

Damn. Too slow. Take 'em down Bigdleech.

May 14, 2008  03:58 PM ET

Uh....D'antoni didn't make any trades. He coaches, he didn't acquire any of the players you are giving him credit for.

May 14, 2008  04:05 PM ET

^ That's what I was gonna say. Along with, the Knicks have a horrible roster with too many big contracts, etc.

May 14, 2008  04:24 PM ET

wrong move,but ill wait

May 14, 2008  04:29 PM ET

I just argued this point in another TD... Vote right...the Knicks have NO ONE they can trade and are $40 million over the cap.

May 14, 2008  04:36 PM ET

so r the bulls

May 14, 2008  04:38 PM ET

I hate to pimp another TD...I can't believe the vote count!

The Bulls are $7 million over with 3 contract expiring worth $11 million.

May 14, 2008  04:39 PM ET

yes but if they trade marbury who costs a lot watch their salary cap

May 14, 2008  04:44 PM ET

To Trade Marbury they have to replace the contract with one or more of similar value or the NBA will reject it. It's not as easy as just trading a guy. That is the biggest problem with the this TD and the other TD arguement. He and you have no idea how salary cap/trade rules in the NBA works.

May 14, 2008  04:44 PM ET

Why do people keep saying the suns would trade for Stephon Marbury. why would the suns be stupid like that?

May 14, 2008  04:49 PM ET

You saying I don't have any idea how it works? I don't see where I look like I don't know how the cap works.

May 14, 2008  05:12 PM ET

Leech- I am arguing your point on my other TD. M-S-D has it all wrong.

I'm waiting for all arguements, but I pretty much have my mind made up.

May 14, 2008  05:15 PM ET

Okay then, sorry for the misunderstanding.

May 14, 2008  06:41 PM ET

HA! isiah's trades and huge contract signing screwed teh Knicks for a while to come....the bulls have 2 or 3 free agents coming up but that doesnt mean they want to leave...D Antonio should have wait for teh offer....at the same time what were teh bulls really waiting on?????

May 14, 2008  07:23 PM ET

I am not as down on the Knicks as everyone else. Yes, at the moment they are in trouble. However, in a few years those trades go off the books and LeBron and a lot of other free agents are up there. LeBron has called D'Antoni an offensive genius and you know he would love the spotlight in NY.

May 14, 2008  07:59 PM ET

Lebron wont go to NY. He will go to a team like LA where he wont need to carry a team ALL by himself. He would love to have Kobe along side him, passing and shooting.

May 14, 2008  08:02 PM ET

D'Antoni was a bad choice by the Knicks.

Isiah Thomas

I would rather coach the bulls roster..... And if Deng and Gordon leave- they still have money to spend!
