Create a starting XI with 11 players of your choice (must be current players) and chose a manager
and a formation
Heres Mine (3-5-2)
GK- Gianluingi Buffon (Italy, Juventus)
LB- John Terry (England, Chelsea)
CB- Carles Puyol (Spain, FC Barcelona)
RB- Andrea Nesta (Italy, AC MIlan)
LWM- Lionel Messi (Argentina, FC Barcelona)
RCAM- Ronaldinho (Brasil, FC Barcelona)
CM- Stephen Gerrard (England, Liverpool
LCAM Kaka (Brasil, AC Milan)
RWM- Christiano Ronaldo (Portugal, Manchester United)
LF- Thierry Henry (France,FC Barcelona)
RF- Fernando Torres (Spain, Liverpool)
Manager- Sir Alex Ferguson (England, Manchester United)

I really don't follow soccer but there are two names you left off that I really think should be on there.
First and foremost, instead of Torres, is Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. He's the man, from what I've heard and seen.
And I've heard lots of good stuff about a defender named Cannavaro from Italy, so maybe he'd replace Nesta.
Aside from that, I really don't give a rat's rear about soccer, it's really not something you'll find a lot of competition about here on fannation. But I think I'm right.

Torres is leading the Engilsh Premership with 25 goals in his first season. Nobody can stop him from scoring. For a while is was thinking Drogba and Torres, but then i went with Henry instead of Drogba. Henry might not be doing that well this season, but I still think he is one of the best in the world. Fabio Cannavaro is a very good defender (he was MVP at the world cup), but I think that Nesta from AC Milan is a better defender. Cannavaro hasnt been playing his best since that WC, so I went with Nesta instead. Both of them are really good though.

okay, well sice youve forfieted your turn, i dont really have much to say here. If you had bothered to put a list of players down than this would be more interesting. but since youve forfieted your turn theirs not really much i can say.

Report Offensive CommentThis is not a soccer throwdown. It's a futbol throwdown. I don't think I can pronounce any of those names. This is the United States not the United Kingdom. There are more bowling fans than soccer fans in this country.

Report Offensive CommentRichard Dunne should be a defender. Stalwart, enigmatic, prone to the magnificent blunder. He's hugely entertaining. And Micah Richards should be in there, as well. And I would take Drogba over Torres, only because Torres disappears sometimes.

Report Offensive Commentcavman you cant realistically align 5 very offense-minded mids in front of 3 DFs. even if u do a 3-5-2, at least put a def mid behind 4 more offense-minded mids. youd have huge gaps between your offense and your defense.
