Pick an all-NBA starting (all season) 5 with arguements on the 2nd and 3rd arguement slots

I'm going to argue the 4 and 5 positions because we have the same for the other positions.Dirk averaged almost 10 more points than KG this season.Dirk had 26.8 ppg compared to KG's 18.8 ppg.Also Dirk is a weapon inside the paint and out.KG isn't an all that great 3 point shooter.KG did have more rpg,but only by .6.and last time I checked,.6 rebounds isn't a whole lot.10 points more can make a difference.But not .6 rebounds.


Dirk,is a great player,in this case I'll go ahead and say KG is the better player though.KG was the defensive player of the year.And even though those 9.2 rebounds aren't much more than Dirk's 8.6,for this year I'd take KG.It's not like KG can't score,he just has somewhat less in his arsenal.He still averaged 18.8 ppg,he just is more of a leader for the Celtics.This is really not his team,he just more for his team than Dirk does.Paul Pierce is in charge of the Celtics and KG is just taking the wheel.But would the Celtics be a good team without KG?I don't think so.The way he plays defense,they way he makes up ground and swarms the ball is amazing to watch in a league of no D(and Marcus Camby).As for an All NBA team I think KG has played his way onto the all NBA team,and deserves so more than the not so clutch Nowitzki.

As for Dwight I've argued the other way before,these guys are very much great players.Dwight being way out in front in the rebounding category (14.2 to 9.1) 20.7 ppg in the reg season,a couple points behind Amare but I believe Dwight Makes more of a difference. Amare is an excellent palyer don't get me wrong but Howard is slightly more deserving here.


Howard may average more rebounds but Amare has more ppg.Like I said,points are more important than rebounds.Rebounds are good,but points are better.If our starting 5's played,mine would win.They average more points.Enough said


Points are more important than rebounds?Hmmmm,but isn't it a concept that defense is more important than offense?I'd gladly take Howard and Garnett to take Stoudamire and Nowitzki.They would struggle to score points because of the defense these two provide,the leading rebounder in the NBA AND the defensive player of the year.

"They average more points enough said,"well my team would hold yours to less points.'Nuff said.

Huh? What's the difference if neither of you vote for yourselves, both of you vote for yourselves, or both of you vote for each other? It's simple math; it won't change the difference of the score.
