6'9 SF from Italy Danilo Gallinari

OSU vs. LSU, nah just playin, but now down to business......

Lets take a look at your man's stats, 14.9 ppg. 4.2 rpg. 1.7 apg...
Is that the stats you want from the man who your about to spend a top 5 pick on? I don't think so!

If your Minnesota your looking for a sexy pick because lets face it without KG they aren't selling tickets, Which in a team that doesn't look like it's set up to be a playoff contender for years to come is the most important thing to them.

with the 3rd overall pick the Minnesota Timberwolves select..... O.J. Mayo, He's the ultimate ticket seller, he went to college at USC which automatically makes O.J. merchandise fly off the shelves, he has a bad attitude which for some reason seems to do wonders for a fan base (ask A.I. or Kobe Bryant), and on top of all that he put up great stats...

O.J. put up 20.7 ppg to Gallinari's 14.9 ppg.
O.J. put up 3.3 apg to Gallinari 's 1.7 apg
O.J. put up 4.5 rpg to Gallinari 's 4.2 rpg
(it's rather pathetic that 6'5 Mayo out rebounded 6'9 Gallinari)

But anyways the wolves need a face for the franchise and a 6'9 PF that only has 4.2 rpg is not what they are

If the Wolves take Mayo they can count on picking in the lottery again.

The Wolves are solid at the gaurd position with Rashad McCants, Randy Foye, Marco Jaric, Sebastian Telfair and Corey Brewer. They also have a low post scorer in Al Jefferson.

The best way to go for the Wolves that would make the team better immediatly would be Gallinari.

Gallinari has a sweet touch and can stroke the 3 from all over the line and has great range from 24 foot and in. Danilo can also create his own shot off the dribbe.

You criticize Gallinari for only having 4.3 RPG, but fail to mention that he was used alot as a gaurd due to his ball handling skills and was also set as a perimiter shooter in the Italian league.

What Gallinari does is spreads the floor and allows players like Jefferson reap the benefits.

O.J Mayo while he may be a high profile player also carries alot of baggage. Something a young promising Timberwolves team does not need.

"If the Wolves take Mayo they can count on picking in the lottery again. "

There gonna be picking in the lottery again despite who they pick.

"The Wolves are solid at the guard position with Rashad McCants, Randy Foye, Marco Jaric, Sebastian Telfair and Corey Brewer. They also have a low post scorer in Al Jefferson."

Brewer is a forward, and just because you know there names it doesn't make them good, the only real good player in that list is Brandon Foye.
and Them already having a good low post scorer hurts your argument not mine because I believe your man is a PF.

"You criticize Gallinari for only having 4.3 RPG, but fail to mention that he was used alot as a guard due to his ball handling skills and was also set as a perimeter shooter in the Italian league. "

If it's true he is used as a guard he should have more than 1.7 APG.and 14 ppg

Rashad McCants 14.9 ppg 2.7 rpg 2.2 apg
Randy Foye 13.1ppg 3.3 rpg 4.3 apg
Marco Jaric 8.3 ppg 3.3 rpg 4.2 apg
Sebastian Telfair 9.3 ppg 2.3 apg 5.9 apg

The Wolves have plenty of production from the gaurd position. And Corey Brewer played out of position as a SF where he should be a gaurd where he thrived at UF.

"and Them already having a good low post scorer hurts your argument not mine because I believe your man is a PF."

Gallinari does not have the height or size to play the PF, nobody ever, besides you, has said that. What I did say was the Wolves do have a good low post scorer in Al Jefferson.

O.J Mayo is Gilbert Arenas part 2, he will not be an asset to the team concept. Drafting Gallinari, hell, anything besides a gaurd would be a great move for the Wolves.

"Gallinari does not have the height or size to play the PF"
He's 6'9... that's average height for a PF

"O.J Mayo is Gilbert Arenas part 2, he will not be an asset to the team concept. Drafting Gallinari, hell, anything besides a gaurd would be a great move for the Wolves. "

guard is spelled g-u-a-r-d, ok now back to business, how do you know that, the guy seemed to make a huge difference for USC when he joined there TEAM, and Gilbert Areanas isn't that bad, the fact is when he is healthy he puts up great numbers and wins games and in today's NBA as shown with Kobe who has the god of all bad attitudes winning an individual stats is all that matters in today's NBA.

Also that was a sweet comeback with the stats, I have no rebuttal, if you would of done that the whole time you wouldn't be down 8-2.
