I predict the Bengals will be:8-8

I see the Bengals making a slight improvement from last season.

Yes the Bengals finished with a losing record, but many hurtful factors contributed to this. Many would argue that the bengals are on the way down but I don't see it like that.

Ok,so Rudi Johnson, our starting RB started 5 games last year, and in the other games he did play that injury lingered. In the preseason Kenny Irons the talented up and coming Auburn RB tore his ACL.So he provides some speed out of the backfield.

Chad Johnson hurts the team chemistry and if the bengals don't have to worry about him, their production won't suffer as they drafted players in Urrutia,Caldwell, and Sampson, who can pick up the slack.

And Keith Rivers is an imediate fixture at LB,as can Pat Sims.

Ill go with 6-10

The the Bengals have a very tough devision and theres no way there going .500. Teams like Baltimore,Pitt and Clevland will step up and make it tough for the Bengals to win 8 games. They play Dallas,Indy,NYG,Jacksonville, so there goes four games right there not to mention all the other teams that have a great shot at beating the Bengals like the Jets,Skins,Texans and all there divison rivals. There schedule's just way to tough so they wont go .500

How do we know Kenny Irons will be a good back?Irons torn his ACL so theres almost no way he will be as good as he was in collage.Plus Johnsons going to be turning thirty and with 170 carries last year h only had 497 yards so he may be on the downside of his carrer and never get to 1,000 yards again. There running game has to many what if's and injurys so theres no way they will win eight games

You also forgot to mention there defense.Last year it was just terible giving up over 340 yards a game, and gave up the 8th most points out of all the teams in the NFL.

Even with there draft theres still two many wholes in the Bengals lineup so they will finish 6-10

Crap I have 5 minutes!

Who says those games are automatic?Cleveland played an easy schedule last year, and the CB position got no better.

Irons, many players have played good after such an injury.

Rivers,Smith, and Odom, all new additions will help greatly.

"Who says those games are automatic?Cleveland played an easy schedule last year, and the CB position got no better." Cincy

Yet the Browns won ten games so I dont know why your comparing those two totally different teams

Irons is to big of a question mark like there whole team its a what if,I mean Rudi had less then 600 yards last year so will he ever reach 1,00 yards again?I dont think so,and Irons?come on he hasent played a down in the NFL if hes there starter thill be lucky to win 6 games.

"Rivers,Smith, and Odom, all new additions will help greatly"

How much more can it help?make the 24th best defense 20th,with Chad Johnson not wanting to play and there running back's status up in the air there are almost no sure thins execpt for Palmer,T.J. and a few others

In all with a very tough schedule they will only win 6 games but at least thill get a top ten draft pick, again

I'm comparing them because you said the Bengals would lose easily to the Browns twice, the Browns had the pressure on them and they faltered under it when they had a shot to get in the playoffs.

And for the Bengals facing the steelers,it's a rivalry game, you can throw out some stats in rivalry games and watch them go at it.

I'm not saying Irons will contribute greatly, but he will somewhat, speed out of the backfield plus the pound it out style of Rudi, will mix it up.DUH Rudi had less than 600 yards! He barely played!!He had a hamstring injury, and that always affects a RB's play.

Well Odom will be a step up from the underachieving Justin Smith. And the bengals had LB troubles all last year with injuries.Landon Johnson, their best LB,had problems.Heck, they had to play a DE (Robert Geathers) at OLB.

It's not like the Bengals don't have reliable targets, they have TJ,and Utecht now, rookie recievers will make an impact,as will Glen Holt, and others.

With a healthy LB corps, and a healthy D-Line(any more than it was last year),the defense will be better.

And the Bengals struggles, intensified on offense with the injuries of Pro Bowler Willie Anderson, and Levi Jones on the line

'And for the Bengals facing the steelers,it's a rivalry game, you can throw out some stats in rivalry games and watch them go at it."

Its like the Jets,Pats game, yes its a rivalry game but do the Jets ever win, no.The Steelers arent as good as the Pats but still the game is still almost a lock for the Steelers there team is way better and Cincy wont be able to pull one out.

"the Bengals would lose easily to the Browns twice, the Browns had the pressure on them and they faltered under it when they had a shot to get in the playoffs"

The Browns arent the same old browns as they use to be.There older, more experinced and Anderson wont let his team down, they will win and are way better then the Bengals making the Bengals luck to win 1 out of four games against the Stellers and Browns.

"DUH Rudi had less than 600 yards! He barely played!!He had a hamstring injury, and that always affects a RB's play"

He had 174 carries,it may not be a lot but at his age hes not the 300 carry back he used to be.Hamstring injuries are tough to come back from and it will make him think twice about taking that extra hit and running over the linebacker.

The Bengals will go 6-10

Sorry Kaleb but i have to go right on this one. that's because Chad Johnson isn't going to play well since he doesn't want to be with the Bengals and because they struggled to do 7-9 last season.

The Bengals will lose at least 10 games:

they play Cleveland and Pittsburgh twice each. They also play the Cowboys, Colts, Jaguars, Giants, and Eagles outside their division which are guaranteed losses, and they will have a hard time with the Chiefs, Jets, Redskins, and Titans.

It will be a long, sad season in Cincy.
