Just list the coaches who you think will be fired, then explain them in the next agruement. In the final arguement, explain why the opponents' pick(s) is/are wrong. Here's my list(in no particular order):
1. Marvin Lewis, Bengals
2. Herman Edwards, Chiefs
3. Lovie Smith, Bears
4. John Fox, Panthers
5. Andy Reid, Eagles
6. Scott Linehan, Rams

1. agree
2. DISagree
3. DISagree
4. Pass- Homer Rules
5. DISagree
6. DISAgree
There ya go 2 per arguement.
JDawg1447(Gone to UGA/CM Game) said 05/26, 11:05 AM
The Chiefs have struggled lately even with Larry Johnson, and I think they will struggle this year, resulting in Edwards being fired. I agree that Lovie Smith is a good coach, but I think that the QB issue will pop up again and the Bears may find it hard to win games, leading them to dismissing Smith. If Smith is fired, he should land a head coaching job somewhere else. John Fox has really only made a name for himself when he took the Panthers to the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. I think they need to win the division to insure that he will keep his job, but I think Tampa Bay will easily win it. With Andy Reid, I think it is his children's personal issues that may lead to him either being fired or taking some time off. Reid is a decent coach, but I think he has to do something big this year to get the critics off his back. Last year the Rams were ready to fire Linehan, but backed off late. The Rams will struggle this year, resulting in Linehan being fired.

Ok first two
2. Herman Edwards, Chiefs
The Chiefs spent a TON of effort and a coupla picks to get Herm from the Jets - and if he survived this offseason, I don;t see him getting dropped anytime soon- and the Chief brass is still inlove with him- personally I don;t think he is that good a coach in NEW YORK much less now- but then again I think there are a lot of coaches that are overrated in the NFL right now (and don;t get me STARTED in the NBA)
3. Lovie Smith, Bears
This one is pretty simple- Lovie is a solid coach, and fits well with the Bears system- plus unlike Dick, Lovie looks like he is going to be able to keep the team successful after one down year- the team still played hard at the end of the year- something Bears fans and management can appriciate- plus the NFC Supe loser ALWAYS has a massive hangover- then can look to get better- other than Seattle- but they are in the bye Divison anyway. Lovie is going to last at LEAST 2 more years before his ample backside even starts to get warm

I really have nothing to argue now because you didn't make your own list.
This is not the Pimp you want said 05/26, 01:13 PM
Way to tap there- You can;t defend your picks?
Either you CANNOT defend your picks vs my attacks and are looking for a cheap way out
or
you are looking for a pity vote and cannot defend your list
out of 7 people I would KILL to have 4 differences on most TDs
-- and you didn;t have a problem with it in arg #2 didya?
anyway ongoing-
5. Andy Reid, Eagles
-- Reid is not getting fired in Philly- Philly fans are smart-and they know Reid is not getting outcoached and simply needs the players to win- he survived TO and is going to survive with Donovan or without him
6. Scott Linehan, Rams
If Scott made it past this year he will make it another year- The Rams are having to transision from the GSOT team to rebuild- and dumping the coach now is not going to help- Linehan has a great bio so far- and for the rams to pitch him midship is not going to improve long term- he is young and smart - so he go after another 2-14 year- but anything over 5 wins he keeps his job.

No way Andy Reid gets fired, unless they go like 2-14 which isn't going to happen.

Report Offensive CommentI'm a HUGE Carolina Fan- and argueing anything about the great Fox will either hurt my mind or my soul- If Fox does badly- I get Cowher- but if the team does bad- My team DOES BAD.
Its a catch -22, but Fox is a solid coach anyway. I fgured 4 were wnough differnces for us.

Report Offensive CommentNo way Lovie Smith gets fired. He's a great coach who took them to a Super Bowl with a crap offense.
I agree that Herm will get fired. I could also see Mangini get fired if they have a horrible year after spending all of that cash.

Report Offensive CommentNo way Herm Edwards leaves KC. I think enough changes have been made this year that they will at least IMPROVE this year. I think 2009 will be their year to shine, and I think Edwards will still be there.
Y'all don't think Wade Phillips will be gone??? I do.
Also - Why Marvin Lewis? I think he's just what the Bengals need. He's firm and takes no crap. I think he's good for another year or two.
Lovie Smith should go. He's a great man, but somehow the Bears have almost become laughable under his charge. Yes, I know they went to the Super Bowl... but ever since, they have been crap.
Tough choice, but voting right because I don't think Herm Edwards is gonna get fired. Linehan either.

Argue why the players YOU listed SHOULD be fired... That's what you should argue.

Report Offensive CommentJHILL, try arguing why your list should/will be fired.
But you still get the vote because you asked for a list from the challenger.
Mind you, David could have still put Tom Coughlin and Bill Belichick on his list and it would likely be better than the 5 you picked (as long as Marinelli, Kiffen, or Mangina were in the vicinity).
