I'm gonna have to say it will be......... Matt Ryan,
I'll let you argue first...
The A-Wall Show said 05/27, 09:52 AM
ok, matt ryan is a good choice, because he is joining a Falcons team that is at the Low of the Lows right now, But he is being brought in to a system that is used to moble QB's, the Falcons Are Horrible on paper, But my pick,
Joe Flacco
Maybe your thinking being drafted at 18 does not qualify to be "Bust Quality" But oh it does.
The ravens ae coming off a dissapoining year, There starting Qb Steve McNair is not coming back , so many fingers are being pointed to Joe Flacco to carry the team up the standings.
Joe Flacco has AMAZING potential being 6'7 236 and a rocket arm make Flacco one of the Best looking QB's in last years draft.
But look at the Ravens Offensive line,
No one has more then 4 years experiance, and showed Alot of leaking last year, making McNair move. McNair was known for scrambling out of the pocket and gunslinging bombs.
Flacco on the other hand is a big guy, not very fast either, Ravens O-line will leak, Providing easy prey for blitzing linebackers. and when you make a big guy scramble, hes gonna throw picks, look for Flacco to have a horrible 2008

Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco are in the same boat pretty much,
They are both on bad teams that the fans expect too much from,
They are both at the most stressful position in the NFL,
They both are playing behind terrible O-lines,
But there is one big difference between Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco....
Joe has a former starter, Kyle Boilinger in front of him so that he doesn't get thrown out into the line of fire his first season, while Ryan is expected to start his first in Atlanta and do great things...
Think about it, The guy has a rookie head coach, bad O-line, Higher expectations (considering that he was picked much higher than Flacco), no real good receiver, a poor Defense, so he'll be playing from behind alot in which cases rookie QB's tend to make many mistakes trying to force big plays, and last but not least he has to try to live down the QB legacy of Mike Vick.
The Falcons are setting Ryan up for a big Failure because unlike Flacco, he has to start first thing he sets foot in Atlanta.
The A-Wall Show said 05/27, 03:37 PM
umm.. his name is Kyle Boller and he only started one 16 game season and that was in 2004.
And if your talking about veteran experience in your argument is a terrible choice and heres why.
The Ravens have 4 QB's on there roster ,
2 rookies
1 with 6 years exp and only started one season
1 with 2 years experiance
Falcons have 4 Qb's on there roster
1 Rookie
2 with 2 years exp
And Joey Harrington, who will provide Matt Ryan with excellent leadership having started 3 years and his first 3 nfl seasons, they were horrible, Expect Harrington to provide, leadership along the road.
Your argument is hurting my brain, ok living down the Legacy of michael vick .. What? How about Flacco, Living down the Legacy of Steve McNair, during his years with the titans, he dominated the game, famous for "One yard short"
And there is no proof Ryan will start, Joey Harrington is a good Qb, Picked 3rd overall, he could get the nod until matt ryan gets comfy with his new team.
Joe Flacco will be the bigger bust, the big man in a small pocket doesn't work. Matt Ryan will show up for his team even if they lose,
*LSU* Later Gators said 05/27, 11:04 PM
First of all Kyle Bolinger has way more experience than anyone on the Falcons roster,
And if you think the Ravens are bad QB, then check out the Falcons,
1 Rookie (Matt Ryan)
1 constantly injured (Byron Leftwich)
1 and one huge bust (Joey Harrington)
So you really think Joey Harington is a "good" QB , bud I think your either stupid or just don't know sports because Joey Harrington is a horrible QB, you do know who you are talking about, Right.... You know, the guy who has more int's than TD's on his career.
My argument is hurting your brain? I'm not sure you have one after reading the crap your spraying out of your mouth....
"ok living down the Legacy of Michael vick .. What? How about Flacco, Living down the Legacy of Steve McNair,"
Mcnair was only in Baltimore for to years, the only person having to live down his legacy is Vince Young, while Mike was the face of the Falcons for the better part of a decade...
Matt is gonna get thrown in the line of fire because bottom line Joey Harrington sucks, while Kyle Boilinger is a decent QB who will start in front of Flacco for next season and maybe the one after that.. until Flacco is comfortable with the offense.
The A-Wall Show said 05/28, 07:04 AM
Stop sating Kyle Bollinger Its Kyle Boller, You made that Mistake TWICE.
I never said joey harrington was a good Qb, i said he started 3 seasons and could provide experience.
And so Could Leftwitch, There Both Busts themselves, id think on a team where there is already 2 busts the would be able to show some leadership off the field if they cant on the field
Dont use that language in a td, its unsportsmanlike.
Michael Vicks Legacy is tainted, Atlanta (organization) is trying to forget they ever had Vick on there roster.
Joe Flacco will start, Kyle Boller, (YOU MADE THIS MISTAKE 3 TIMES) is a horrible Qb that only plays when the starters are injured, Flacco has the arm and the strength to be the best pick of this years draft. BUT, Matt Ryan is on the verge of re-building the Falcons Franchise, Which means there getting better every year, Flacco on the other hand is Qb'ing a Franchise that is still falling, and when your team does bad . your Qb does bad. Predictions?
Ryan leads the falcons to a 5-11 record,
Flacco leads the Ravens to a 4-12 record
Another important fact: Ravens have a Much Harder Schedule then the Falcons, more chance Flacco will crumble under pressure

I'm surprised more attention isn't paid to the horrific failure that may happen in Atlanta. New Coach, rookie QB, disgruntled receiver, a RB who never took the full load before. They could easily be setting themselves up for years of failure

Flaco will have a average year. (BUT TROY SMITH SHOULD HAVE THE SPOT INSTEAD OF JOE)
The biggest bust will be Mcfadden...to high of an expectation

Yeah, Ryan and Flacco are both QBs, behind bad O-lines, that are big in size. Similar situations, so I gotta vote the bigger bust to Ryan, which is left.

Also, I'd love to see Troy Smith, a former Mizzou QB, be the Ravens' starter. He has great speed and has a strong arm. Just awareness and accuracy are problems. I thought they originally drafted him to be a WR though?

Troy Smith went to OSU. Are you thinking of Brad Smith? If you are, you should understand that he has no business being a quarterback in the NFL. He was one of the worst quarterbacks I've ever seen.

Isn't Brad Smith a receiver now.
