I will say Ozzie Guillen. This guy is hilarious, not to mention a winner. Sure he has his media time, but without him, people would be saying Chicago who? He brings publicity to an otherwise non-publicized team.

He has a championship under his belt, and he is extremely funny as well. He provides energy to a team that needs it.

Criticizers can bring up his cussing, but I say that makes him even more likeable(as crazy as that sounds). He is a master at winning people over, except Jay Mariotti. I would love to have the Ozzie on my team.

I would like to have Bobby Cox as my manager. He led the Atlanta Braves to 10+ straight division titles, and has been a very good manager. He leds his team, and helps them improve. He might not be as funny as Guillen, but he doesn't make huge distractions like Guillen does either.

Cox has 1 World Series win, and he also has 4 Manager of the Year awards that he won. He is a great manager, and knows how to led a team to victory.

Guillen might be funny, but he has a short temper, and causes a huge distraction for the team. You don't need that on your team. Plus, you don't want media attention in a negative way, you want it in a good way.

Cox has 15 division champions, and that is going to help out my team. I want a good manager, not a distracting, short-tempered manager who isn't that good.

It makes him more likeable? I don't know how cussing and being short-tempered is likeable.

Ozzie Guillen would be a distraction to the team, unlike Cox would, and I would love to have Bobby Cox on my team.

I don't thing Guillen is a distraction, rather, I think he brings needed attention to a starving team.

Cox has had very little to do with the Braves' success. He directs the talented players and that is all.

Bobby Cox has always had a good team, but Guillen has not. Yet Guillen somehow still manages to bring wanted attention to his team.

With all respect to Cox, Guillen has done more with less talent to choose from.

He doesn't bring needed attention. He brings good attention sometimes, but bad attention most of the time. Most of the time the only reason he gets talked about is because he is swearing, yellling, and doing something that is a positive thing.

Cox has a lot to do with the Braves success. He is the manager and is leading this team. He makes all the right lineup decisions, he knows what pitchers to put in where. He knows so much about the game of baseball.

Bobby Cox has had a good team, but Guillen has also had a good team for some years, and hasn't done anything except one World Championship. Plus, Cox has more experience. He has been managing for 30 years. Guillen has only been managing since 2004. I would rather take an experienced manager, then one who has only managed for 4 years.

Guillen has had good teams those 4 years, and Bobby Cox also hasn't had a good team to coach with. A lot of the time, he had a good team, but some of the time he didn't.

I would still pick Cox over Guillen.

Forfeited Turn

Cox would be my choice over Guillen. It is pretty much for the reasons of why I stated in arguments 1 and 2.

Happy voting everyone.

You can't go wrong with Cox but you got to love Joe Torre and Terry Francona. Both are at the top of the game. Lou Piniella is funny too.

I thought about Scosica, but I liked Cox better.

Wait - isn't Guillen in his 40's still, while Cox is like what? 70? I bet Ozzie could still get a base knock every now and then. The title says "on your team" right? Not "managing" your team.

JK Dyhard. You know you have my vote.
