He already has 82 and a third innings pitched which is the harder of the 2 stats to catch up with someone in. He has 74 Ks too and will be well over 100 IP by the time he gets his 100th K

yes i was hoping u'd say that!

now its basically arguing who will get 100 Ks first, Halladay or harang. u can still argue IP if u want but i find it pretty obvious that both of these pitchers will reach 100 IP before either hits 100 ks.

Harang has a 3 K lead and over 1 whole more K per 9. Harang is obviously the better strikeout pitcher and really just hasnt found his grove yet this year. when he can start doing good again he can go deeper into games and get more strikeouts.

i find it more likely that harang finds his groove than halladay staying in this pitching out of his mind type play. he has 5 compleete games but he has cooled off considerably and harang is starting to heat up. even as it stands, harang would have a really good chance of having more ks than haladay bcoz he is beating him as of now and isnt even going as deep into games as he usually does.

loook for harang to have some breakout games soon.


let me put it 2 u this way. who is more likely to have a 10 K performance. obviously harrang. he has much more potential to explode with a huge game than haladay does and in the end thats what it will come down 2

hows this, harang has back 2 back years of 216 Ks or more. halladay has back to back years of under 140 ks. only one time in his entire career did he reach 200 ks and it was only 204 back in 2003 and besides that year in his 11 year career he has only had more than 150 strikeouts ONCE.

now, harang is obviously the better strikeout pitcher. the track record doesnt just support harang, but its unignorable and is just too overwhelming of a difference 2 still be thinking about halladaya. halladay averages about 100 strikeouts a year and u think he will get 100 ks before haranG? haladay is fluke pitching. he never was a k pitcher and hes going to return to an inning eater who feeds off ground balls.

u say my argument is opinion with no facts in it? well all ur arguement is is bashing my argument with zero anything fact or opinion backing up halladay. all u did was use under 200 characters to take shots at my argument but at the same time u provided no argument of ur own and no reasons WHY haladay will go against his track record and y harangs "woes" will continue
