Rules: state your top 5 then write supporting details in paragraphs 2 and 3

1. Bull Durham
2. Raging Bull
3. Rocky
4.When we Were Kings
5. Jerry Mcguire

1. Rocky
2. Rudy
3. Remeber the Titans
4. Talledaga Light
5. Bull Durham

Honorble mention, Friday Night lights, The Longest Yard, Field of Dreams, The Rookie, and that movie about that Oregon long distance runner, the name slipped my mind.

Wait you put talladega nights down? that movie sucked and it wasn't really a sports movie it was a comedy, your right i did forget rudy and hoosiers both two gret sports movies and also i forgot caddyshack band the drum slowly, and i guess field of dreams (which is supposed to b great, but i found it long and tiresome) these all deserve honorable mentions, Jerry macguire probably shoud not be top 5 but it was a great movie. oh and slapshot was very funny also. I didn't think remember the titans deserved top 5 but definetely top 10 and deserves an honorable mention. The reason i didnt put Rocky 1 or 2 because with Rocky it's like you are taking the whole series with it and to be honest all of them after 3 sucked. Oh and the natural was a great movie

Taledaga Nights was a sports movie and a good on at that, just because a movie is funny it doesn't make it not a sports movie, also if Rocky sucked, then how come you put it in your top 5.

Also How do you leave Rudy out, you have to admit that it is one of the best movies of all-time whether you like Notre Dame or not,

And if Jerry Mcguire shouldn't be in the top, then why did you put it there, Are you stupid?

It's not that I' stupid i made a mistake, it happens to the best. But c'mon y dont u just put semi pro and baseketball in your top 5

This is my personal list and I just never really cared for chariots of fire

June 2, 2008  01:22 AM ET

This TD is a matter of opinion, but you made a huge mistake when you 4got Rudy

June 2, 2008  01:38 AM ET

Well Rudy shouldn't have been left out but you both left out a classic and my personal fav... Hoosiers

There is absolutely no reason for Raging Bull not to be ranked numero uno unless you believe that the film doesn't belong in the sports genre. Raging Bull is a top 10 American film of all-time while the others with the possible exception of the original Rocky aren't even in the top 250.

June 2, 2008  05:23 AM ET

Vote right just because he didn't start this absurd TD. If you HAVE to do a movie theme, don't do best SPORTS movie. Geez. How about best baseball movie or best golf movie, etc.

Both lists blow.

Jerry Mcguire?
Talladaga Lights?

You kidding me?

The Rookie was a better movie than Bull Durham...I always thought that was a chick flick.
Jerry Maguire????? Okay that was definitely a chick flick...they can't count as sports movies.
Youngblood was a good movie.
