Future of Pistona

After fireing Flip Saunders today the question remains whats there to do next? Trade on of their veterans starters or keep them and continue building their young bench and get a new coach. My opinion is that the Piston should try to hire Avery Johnson. Best coach available and trade Rasheed Wallace or Prince to move up in the draft class or a good young player. These guys are old and they dont come out to play evrey night. Time for a change.

They already hired the pistons assistant coach, I agree they should trade Rasheed Wallace.

Tayshaun Prince should stay, He's awesome on offense and really talented in defense.

No, I don't think they need a change, Just get rid of Wallace and that's it.

Rodney and Maxiell are doing great as young players, and the pistons need good role models and leaders for the young players. They're leaders are Billups, Rip, Prince, McDyess and Wallace (sometimes)

If they trade Wallace, they get rid of the only guy on the team who could take his man in the post.I think if they trade Wallace they need a good big man in return. I dont think Maxiell would be a good starter because he dosnt have a post game.

After forfiteting your turn its clear you have no response. Also to respond to some of the comments. To trade Billups is ridouclous unless your getting a young player with a great future for him. Wallace play the post he has a nice turnaround jumpshot and spreads out the defence because of his shooting which the Pistons want.

thats a no brainer, obvisiously there going to try to get a young player.

They are going to hire Curry. And I would trade Rasheed, but definately not Prince. And this throwdown has been done way too much lately.

Yea trading Prince to get younger doesn't make sense, he is young. I say trade Wallace and Billups (if his contract is not up). They already seem to have a replacement for Billups and he just isn't the player he was in the past.

Ugh. AVery Johnson was just fired for the exact same reason as Flip Saunders. He's not a good fit. And as Bigd said, it looks like it'll be Curry.

Alo - just because you are 'younger' doesn't mean you will win.
And there is NO ONE in this draft (other than Rose - and possibly beasley- who I DON'T think will) that will be a Superstar
so who are they going to get that will contribute NOW?
