With Kevin Love's combiniaion of being slightly overwieght, inabiliy to play above the rim, lack of of true big man height will transfer to an average at best NBA player no nearly worthy of a top ten pick.

THIS is what i think the draft picks should be...
1.Bulls-Michael Beasley
2.Heat-Derrick Rose
3.TWolves-Brook Lopez
4.Sonics-Jeryd Bayless
5.Grizzlies-O.J Mayo
6.Knicks-Danilo Gallinari
7.Clippers-Russell Westbrook
8.Bucks-Eric Gordon
9.BobCats-Kevin Love*
10.Nets-Anthony Randolph
Love led the Bruins in scoring (17.5 points) and rebounds (10.6) on the way to a 35-win season and a trip to the Final Four, where they lost to Memphis. He's the leader and heart of ucla and i think he deserves a top ten pick and he'll be great.

Here is the problem with love he dosent fit into a NBA system. He is not athletic enough to create his own shots and to play solid defense on athletic powerforward. He is not tall enough to shoot over any one or be a solid shot blocker or rebounder.
He isnt big enough to be a true big man and isnt athletic enough to play the wing. I would think you have to play love at the 4. Can you see love matching up with a Dirk or a Gastal, they would run circles around him.
Please tell me what aspect of the NBA game he will have significant impact on.

The Grizzlies won't draft Mayo when they already have Conley. They may trade the pick for a big man. Or they may trade Conley. I don't know, to be honest. They are the dumbest organization in the league for that Gasol give-away already.
Love won't be anything more than a career back-up.

Basketball isn't all about how tall or athletic you are. The kid knows how to play. He will have to work on his athleticism and weight to be a good player for a long time, but he definitely has the potential to be a good role player on the right team. He has excellent IQ and a great all around game. He doesn't have to be a star to be worth a top 10 pick, he just has to help a team win, and he has shown he has the ability to do that. Plus, who are you going to take above him who's not projected in the top ten? It's not like any of them are locks to be a significant player. With a guy like Love you know you're getting a solid player who will bring a winning attitude and be coachable. That's a hard thing to find in today's NBA.

The passing game. Sure, he still needs to refine several smaller aspects of his game, but the man can pass to teammates all the way downcourt with ease. He'll be drafted in the first round for sure because of how well he can chuck it, probably even top 10 as you said, and I think he'll do well.
He might not be a great player, but he won't be a bust.

I think Love would be succesful in a fast paced offense such as Golden State, believe it or not. His outlet passes are spot on, nad he could set up a lot of fast breaks
