He's closing in on 500 already!!! The guys isn't injury prone and although he's not consistent week to week, he is consistent season to season. I think he'll be the first player ever to be in the 800 club.

I don't think so, but he'll come close. I think Bonds will break the record and he will have 761 by the end of this year and next year as a DH for an AL team he will go up to 779 home runs. A-Rod is closing in on 500 but he will choke (like usual at 760, which would be in 2013 at 38 years old, his body will break down by then though). He will end up with 762 HR when it's all said and done.

crappy argument eaglemaniac. you need to come up with some stats to prove otherwise. this could be a good throwdown, but right now you're making yourself look like a 1-4 idiot

Report Offensive Commenteagle, that was pretty dumb, especially when you guessed A-Rod's totals.

Report Offensive CommentSnuffles is right. The guy never gets hurt (knock on wood) and as long as he stays in the pitching weak AL, he will break the record. He has rediculous power but he does lack the plate discipline of Barry. When its all said and done though, he will have the record.

Report Offensive CommentWombat ur right, and since we're both going into 8th or 9th grade, we will see someone hit the 1000 hr club, and I think it's someone playing in the league today. Hint: He's from Canada.

Report Offensive CommentNo, I'm wrong, he's not playing in the league now. But seeing someone in the 1000 hr club in our lifetime will happen.
