Alright, here we go.
PG- I'd say I have the advantage pretty soundly.
SG- It's a tossup.
SF- You have it: for now. In a year or two, I think Melo will have the nod.
PF- KG wins.
C- I think that Al is head-and-shoulders above Dalembert.
So far- 2-2-1
BenchPG: Miller versus Foye- I say it's about even.
Bench SG: Allen and Crawford versus Durant and Roye- I think I have it. Durant and Roye are two very versatile young guns, while Allen is the aging sharpshooter and Crawford is the overpaid, needs playing time, nothing too special about him kinda guy. Maybe that's just me.
BenchSF: Iguodala and Jefferson versus Kirilenko and Green- I'll give you it.
Bench Bigmen: Randolph and Bosh versus Camby and Oden- I think for starters that you should've put Bosh in for Dalembert, but oh well. I say it's a tossup, as we don't exactly know what Oden would do yet.
So far: 3-3-3
Nice team.

First, Bosh is listed as a PF almost everywhere, and I didn't want to get into one of those F/C arguments, so I just used Dalembert.
Everyone knows Deron Williams, but most people don't know that Calderon averaged 8.3 assists. Calderon had a better FG%, 3pt% and FT%. He averaged just 1.54 TO to Williams' 3.40! Closer than most think, huh?
Dalembert had a higher FG% and less TO. Jefferson is obviously better on offense, but Dalembert is FAR superior on defense. He has 2.34 BPG to Al's 1.45, and with all of the scoring, there needs to be defense, which is why Dalembert fits in.
Sorry, but Miller has the advantage here. Talk about underrated, Miller averaged 17, 6.9 APG, 1.3 SPG and 4 RPG. Foye averaged 13, 4.2, .9 and 3.3. Foye was hurt most of the year while Miller ran a surprise playoff team.
Not only does Crawford score more than Durant, he gets 5 APG to Durant's 2.4. Crawford shoots better from 3, and averages less TO. Crawford is one of the few guys on the Knicks who can play. Allen isn't what he used to be, but he can still shoot, and he can score.
Bosh is a legitimate All-Star who averages 22 and 8.7 RPG, and plays defense. Randolph did average 17 and 10. Oden?
You too.

Calderon, however, is not as vital to his team. The Raptors have Mo Williams, and they've stated that they're looking for a "true" point guard in the offseason. Don't tell me that his stats are better because of Boozer, as I'd rather have Bosh down low in the paint.
I don't know how much more Miller has in the tank, which may show this season.
Honestly, how many people did Durant have to pass to? A lot less then crawford.

What?
Mo Williams is on the Bucks, and they very well may be looking. But Calderon is on Toronto.
Calderon is incredibly vital to his team. He leads them in assists, steals, A/TO ratio, is 4th in points, and 3rd in minutes. I don't know about you but that is pretty vital to me.
Miller is just 32, so he still has some left in the tank.
Crawford had Eddy Curry, Zach Randolph, David Lee, Quentin Richardson and Stephon Marbury. Even so, he led his team in scoring, and assists; which is not an easy thing to do. As you said, Durant was the only guy on his team, but Crawford still scored more than he did.
As you said, the starters are about even. But the point was to make the best 12 man team, and my bench is FAR better. You have three rookies; one of which who has never played. You have a guy who was hurt almost the whole season.
On the other hand, I have a legitimate All-Star in Bosh; two very underrated guys who both perform in Iguodala and Miller; a very good swingman in Jefferson; a great shooter who can still play in Allen; and very good guard in Crawford. Even Randolph got 17 and 10, which is good enough for the last spot on my bench, lol.
Good throwdown.

We chose weaker divisions on purpose.

Report Offensive CommentThe Southeast and Southwest, I mean. He said he'd use the Northwest, and asked if I wanted to use the Atlantic. I said that I would. If I wanted too, I obviously could have picked a better division that the Atlantic, but that wasn't the point of the throwdown.
