Illinois will win the big 10
Illinois has one of the most underrated qb's coming back in Juice Williams.Last year he threw for 1798 yards and had a qb rating of 119,not to mention he was the Illini's second leading rusher (755) and is a Mike Vick protype becuase he throws a great deep ball and never gets flustered. He was the main reason that the Illini beat Ohio State last year and thill end up doing it again.

Since you didnt argue ill stop right there

Ohio State has the heisman favorite (along with Tim Tebow, no disrespect to him) in Beanie Wells, starting QB Todd Boeckman returns. Along with 2 players who will be preseason all americans on defense in James Lauranitis and Malcolm Jenkins. Illinois lost a huge piece of they're offense in Rashard Mendenhall, who rushed for 1,691 yards last season. This season Williams will be forced to run more, and it will not be as easy because the defense won't have to worry about Daniel Fufrene like they did with Rashard Mendenhall. Ohio State with Terrelle Pryor can use him like Tim Tebow, and considering they have the best running back in college football Ohio State's offense could be unstoppable.

Outside of Mendenhal lthey really lost nothing.Yes he was there best rusher but Daniel Dufrene averaged just as many yards per carry and should step in and make a difference so its not to big of a lose. Now yes Lemon was there best defensive player but they still have one of there best defensive players in Davis who had four picks and 76 tackles last year.Plus there best defensive lineman Brit Davis is still there who had ten sacks last year so the Illini have the pieces in place to overcome there loses.

Ohio State lost many good players to like Robiskie there leading wr, Malcolm Jenkins and Vernon Gholston all who will be misssed more then anyone the Illini lost

The final factor is Juice Williams a game changer who will be in contention for the heisman once its all said and done, plus Beckmans overrated and it showed in there games against LSU and Illinois last year

Dufrene also only ran the ball an average of 4 times a game. How do you think he will react to running the ball 25 times a game, which is 6 times a much as he did last year. What is your proof that Beckman is overrated? He was 13th in the country in Passing Effiency, and had a 25 td to 14 int ratio, compared to Juice Williams 13 td and 12 int that makes Williams overrated. Up front for the D-Line and linebackers illinois has not depth whatsoever, and although they have a very good secondary, that will not make up for the problems up front. Ohio State has 4 potential first team Big Ten preseason defensive players in James Lauranitis, Malcolm Jenkins, Anderson Russell, and Marcus Freeman. My point is, is that defense wins games and Illinois does not have the defense to be the number one team in the Big Ten, and your statement that Beckman is overrated compared to Juice Williams is very hypocritical. Also, they did not lose Brian Robiskie, he was a junior last year. Yout last argument was just a bunch of made up crap, as I have proved in this argument.

Illinois has as good as defense as they did last year and Ohio State has all unproven wide recivers with there best two gone. Juice Williams is a game breaker a Mike Vick or Vince Young he makes everyone around him better and it will be proven when the season starts as he will be a hiesman canidiate. Plus Dufrene has the speed to be a great back and learned from one of the best last year so its all good and he will become a stud to

Im running short on time so happy voting everyone(stupid school)

Heh. I admire the loyalty boys, but no one is threatening the Buckeyes right now. There's just too much talent in Columbus. Ohio State might not be quite as good as some of the other elite teams in the nation, but they've certainly demonstrated that they're the class of the Big Ten.

Illinois and Wisconsin have a lot of talent, but they aren't caught up yet.

I agree with Porkins, there are no temas as of now that are even close to a threat to the Buckeyes.
