I'm quite curious to see what FN thinks about this.

Pacman Jones will go through this season without any major incidents. Why?

For one, he's dangling on a string. He knows it, the Commish knows it. One slip, one problem, and Pacman can say goodbye to the NFL forever. He's lucky to even have this chance. I don't think Pacman is stupid enough to lose this opportunity, especially so soon. Perhaps, in two years, Pacman will get involved in something and get banned indefinably, but for this year at least, he'll stay clean.

I mean, how can he not. He's on a team that is a major Super Bowl contender. He's playing with rising stars and legends already made. America's Team, folks! Pacman strikes me as one of those players who likes to be in the spotlight, no matter what. Playing for the Cowboys, he'll get that. 7 Primetime games, I believe.

The last reason I see Pacman staying away from 'incidents' is the mentoring he is receiving. They're veterans like Terence Newman, Anthony Henry and Greg Ellis on this team, people who haven't ever been in trouble with the league, helping him. Deion Sanders. Even a coach on staff to help with troubled players like him.

Pacman will be just fine.

Depends on your definition of "Major Incidents"

The Cowgirls have free rein as long as they stay within the Dallas Metro area. He could shoot a stripper and her pimp on the hood of a DPD Patrol car and theyd look the other way. As long as he has enough since to stay there we wont hear about what is done.

If he leaves Dallas it will be more of the same. You can take the boy out of the hood but you cant take the hood out of the boy.

Another issue, he now knows he plays for Jerry Jones. He aint going nowhere now. Why was he sent to Dallas? B/C Jerry knew all he had to do was say the word and he was reinstated.

Alright, so you're using your argument to diss the Cowboys? That's pretty sad.

A "Major Incident" is anything that gets him banned from football. I'd be shocked if the media doesn't pick up on some non-story: he and TO disagree, and the media reports it as "Owens and Pacman hate?" or something stupid. You know the media.

Don't even start on Jerry Jones conspiracy theories...you can hate the man, but it doesn't prevent from him from doing what he does best.

I don't have anything to argue, seeing how you didn't post an argument.

Yep, that's what we said about TO and Randy Moss when they got traded.

This is your comment, how does this relate to Pacman? They are bad attitudes when things dont go their way (Moss and TO), Pacman is a common street thug who should be in prison for ordering the shooting that left a man paralyzed.

I am not dissing the Cowgirls or Jones. I am saying that they are Americas team and the big $ franchise and Jerry Jones is equally as powerful as Goodell when it comes to NFL decisions. I am also saying that people in Texas love football. Players are Gods and will get away with virtually anything. In TN Football players have became targets of local police. Jealousy I assume but as a Vol fan it has become a big issue and destroyed recruiting.

Since you defined it as something to get him kicked out I would have to agree b/c hes a Cowboy now. If he were still a Titan: A. He would nt have been reinstated and B. He would be kicked out again after reinstatment.

He will do something that would get me 5 yrs behind bars in the next month. We wont know he did it but hell do it.

Do you honestly think that if there was proof that Pacman ordered the shooting on the man, that he would even be free and out of jail? I doubt we will ever know what happened. No, I don't think he made good decisions, but did he cause a man to be paralyzed? Or was it just a mistake, and he was in the wrong area.

I'm not trying to wipe away what Pacman could have been involved in, but that doesn't matter. You trying to say he is going to order the shooting of someone else? He knows what he's done. If he had something to do with the shooting, then he knows he's lucky not to be in jail. He's not going to go shoot someone so he can get in jail.

If he was just in the wrong place in the wrong time, then why would he mess up again?

You're also saying that Jerry Jones is going to hide Pacman from the law? If he gets arrested, the media will be all over the story. Pacman doing something wrong isn't something you can hide.

The point is not whether Pacman can get away with something. Its whether he will do something or not. Back to my original points: He knows if he messes up, he's done. He knows he's done wrong, and he trying to make up for it. He'll stay out of trouble for a season.

franks quote of "you can take the boy out the hood, but not the hood out the boy" is exactly why he wont stay out of trouble...

Yeah, but TO and Randy Moss didn't take a bunch of weapons to strip clubs every night.

Do "major incidents" include cashstorms inside strip clubs?

June 10, 2008  04:32 PM ET

Pacman can't hep being rebellion, he likes dem scrip clubs.

Yeah, because no one has ever blown the stories of things like drug usage by certain Cowboys players into huge national media stories.

Just to point out...going to strip clubs isn't illegal. Its when other things happen...a man being shot and paralyzed, and stuff like that.

tcat75] Rangers .500!?!?, my point is that he obviously doesn't have the brains to avoid getting in trouble. He went to college and he can't even speak English. He's a gangsta moron with an affinity for the seedier side of life, and morons like that will definitely continue to get in trouble.
