Sorry only two changes...

Pat Burrell over Ken Griffey Jr.

Burrell leads Griffey in the following categories
-Batting Average
-Home Runs
-RBI's
-Runs
-SLG%
-OBP
-Walks
-Total Bases

Griffey hit number 600, but other than that, this season has been pretty weak... Pat Burrell has put up some pretty big numbers this year and deserves the start....

Aaron Rowand over Fukodome

Aaron Rowand has a small advantage in HR's (8 to 5), RBI's (38 to 28), total bases (114 to 100)...

But Rowand gains a biiiiig advantage in Batting Average (.320 to .296) and Slugging% (.507 to .435).... This gives Rowand the advantage over Fukodome overall....

Yea, it was hard to pick OF:
Both Rowand and Burrell have more strikeouts than Griffey and Fukodome:
Burrell:51, Rowand: 47
Griffey: 38 Fukodome: 39
Fukodome walks more than Rowand 43-19, so Fukodome has a better OBP % .404- .389. Fukpdome will start hitting and will get in the ASG, I will say Burrell is better than Griffey.

Just because your guys lead in Strikeouts and walks doesn't mean they are more deserving all-stars....

For the most part Burrell leads Griffey, it really isn't close if you look at the stats... As I said he leads in 8 major categories... and you admitted it, so I guess I'm finished with them....

Again, OBP, walks, and strikouts isn't going to make Fukodome an all-star over Rowand. Rowand leads in HR's, RBI's, TB's, SLG%, and Batting Average....

Rowands overall game is better. Fukodome hits for average and doesn't have any power really.... Rowand easily has the advantage in the power game... while it isn't shown in HR's you can see it in his Slugging% which is about 70 points higher, and 14 more total bases.... plus Rowand can also hit for average, indicated by his .320 average which is 24 points higher than Fukodome....

Fukodome is a good average hitter and can get on base, but Rowand has brought more to the table.... It is close, but their is not doubt Rowand is the better player....

Fukodome also wil have the advantage on where the ASG is , as a left- handed hitter he has the short porch at Yankee Stadium and could easily hit for power there and you also need people to get on base to score runs and have players behind you thant can drive you in which Fukodome has with the Cubs while the Giants don't. Fukodome has 43 runs scored while Rowand has 30, so there you go Fukodome is a better player.

What? You don't get voted into the all-star game because you'd be a good fit in the stadium it takes place in... it is based on your play during the season... and he certainly isn't a power hitter... he hits for average, but Rowand still hits a 24 point better average...

You want to come up with stats, lets see who leads in the major categories....

Category/KF-AR
HR/5-8...point to Rowand
RBI/39-28...point to Rowand
BA/.296-.320... point to Rowand
TB/100-114...point to Rowand
SLG%/.435-.507...point to Rowand
Runs/43-30...point to Fukodome
OBP/.404-.385...point to Fukodome

And the winner is..........

Aaron Rowand!

He took 5 major categories to Fukodomes 2... Rowand is obviously the better player here....

KOSUKE DOESNT DESERVE TO BE IN THE ALL STAR GAME!!!! I am getting freaking pissed at everyone that is jumping on his band wagon...the guy is hitting .200 away from wrigley, he doesnt have that many RBI's, and really isnt having an All Star game season.

Griffey for sure doesnt belong. Just because he hit 600 doesnt mean he gets in. His season has been horrid and he should not be in.

Nate friggin McLouth and Xavier Nady, and Ryan Braun, and Corey Hart, should be in the All STar Game.

CIA, you are exactly right... I could've chosen 7 or 8 people over Griffey, and definetly a few over Fukodome....
