The Prodigy is Hawaiian for #1 said 06/16, 02:19 PM
Tim Sylvia (24-4) versus Fedor (27-1) who wins. I will tell you:
Fedor, hands down all day everyday and twice on Sunday's. Tim is just not good enough to get it done, Fedor can handle a fight anywhere, but I see him submitting Tim. Fedor is easily recognized as the number one heavyweight in the world. He has beaten pretty much a whose who of MMA, sure he hasn't fought any "big" names in a while, but this should be a good warm up for him prior to finally (ok maybe hoepfully) fighting Randy.
Also think about where the sport is right now, it's at an all time popularity factor, and can you believe some "casual" fans still have no clue who Fedor is. Well he is about to introduce himself to the rest of the folks who haven't heard of him in a big way.
Fedor is too skilled, and has too much riding on this fight to lose to the Maineiac. Think I am wrong. Then throwdown!!!

Well, we have some issues here.
Fedor can't win hands down all day every day. He can't win 'hands down' at all...If he does that, Sylvia will destroy him. How do you expect any MMA fighter to fight with their hands down? Forget Sundays. Thats the Sabboth. And Sylvia loves the Lord.
Sylvia has beaten Ben Rothwell, Mike Whitehead, Jason Lambert, Wesley Correira, Ricco Rodriguez, Gan McGee, Wes Sims, Tra Telligman, Assuerio Silva, Jeff Monson, Brandon Vera, and Andrei Arlovski. My word. I dont even know half of these guys. Which means they must be awesome. Wow. Awesome.
He once regained his title from the Arlovski guy by engaging in some "ground & pound," which honestly sounds so friggin cool I really just crown myself the winner already. Whatever the hell that stuff is, it probably makes this Fedor guy useless.
He did steroids once, but unlike what was publicized, it was because he got crazy 1 night and wanted to test his tolerance of needles. That, my friends, is one bad man. He defeated the needles in 1 round.
Sylvia also tried to continue a fight after his arm was snapped practically in half. He probably felt no pain, because as described above, he's hardcore.

Well I guess it is true on the nation. No matter what someone will eventually take on a TD that they have no business in.
Thanks for running down the accolades of who Tim has fought, I notice you didn't do that for Fedor.
Vera hasn't proved himself yet, AA is past his prime, Jeff friggin Monson (PAAALLLEEESSE) Ricco Rodreguiez (tell ricco to go back to rehab)
Fedor has destroyed pretty much everyone he has fought, Tim won't have the cardio nor the skill to beat him.
Moondizzle... said 06/17, 09:32 AM
Whats true on 'the nation' is one can actually initiate a throwdown involving one obviously near-washed up cat against a rising star with a better record. That said - the throwdown can conspicuously - and I'm being facetious - be left OPEN for how many hours? How about you start a TD like "MMA fighter can beat Moondizzle up."
I think Tim's accolades are impressive. He's a 2 time champ, and only had his title taken away once after a mis-reported battle with steroid needles.
Jeff friggin Monson indeed. We tried to get Ricco back to rehab, and he said no, no, no.
Now, if Fedor has 'destroyed' everyone, what are we debating here? Why don't we call him Fedor, Zeus all powerful.
If Sylvia had the cardio and skill to be a champion, what is stopping him now? I say he wins. And when he does, we can debate popcorn or hot dogs the day after in a throwdown of all throwdowns.
You may be The Prodigy, but I'm the Sensation.
I have business in every throwdown I take. Lessons will be learned.

Were debating what the topic is, look there is only two guys in the ring, (yup it's not in a cage) so I picked the one I thought was gonna win, which brings me to my other point. It's in a ring, so Tim has a huge disadvantage since he has been training almost exclusivly for the Octagon.
Lessons will be learned? yeah like never pick against FEDOR.

My goal in all of this has to do with the throwdown you issued and the reasons for which you did. Why do you think this went un-accepted for hours on end? Meanwhile, you complain when I point out what it is, and you will get a win out of it regardless.
There are 2 guys in the cage, and you picked one. Ok, when Tyson came back out of jail against Hurricane McNeeley, I picked Tyson. I absolutely can not lie.
And while the disparity in talent for THIS match does not nearly reach that of the Tyson match, I think we can delve into the comment section below for everyone's thoughts on the matter. Who out there actually believes Sylvia has a chance? Probably nobody.
But I pointed out his victories, stated that Fedor can't win with his hands down, jokingly or not. Your main point in this entire throwdown?
"Fedor is easily recognized as the #1 heavy-weight in the world."
Then:
"Well he is about to introduce himself to the rest of the folks who haven't heard of him in a big way."
What does that have to do with the talent level? You're talking about the sport in general there. It holds no water here.
Ground & Pound holds water. Which is what Sylvia will do. Yay.

No guarantees in any MMA fight, but Fedor has a solid 99.99% chance of winning. And an 80% chance of winning in round one.

I really don't think Slyvia could win but a decent argument could be made. Slyvia major problem is his stamina. There is no doubt the guy is tough....hell, Frank Mir broke his arm and the guy still didn't submit. He does have power and is a decent grappler/wrestler. I personally don't think he would win but he definitely ain't no punk. lol

Although I found Moondizzle's rant slightly entertaining, I just don't think I can vote for someone who turned a legitimate throwdown into a joke. Next time, Moondizzle, leave the MMA throwdowns for the MMA fans or at least someone that can argue a valid point. Funny argument, though.

You can have any point of view you like to on this. But I judged my actions to be within reason. I'm an entertainer. Sometimes you have to lose.

So far, I have comments like "no brainer" "solid 99.99% chance" and yet I'm told that this is a legitimate throwdown? I dont mind the losing. The whole point moving forward is to get people to stop issuing nonsensical TD's.
