Notre Dame will fire Fat Charlie Weiss at the end of 2008 season. Which will be another loser for the Fighting Irish.

This will be as simple as looking at the record....which will be a loser. Charlie Weiss is a pretender as a head coach.


No Weis will not get fired after the 2008 season.

1.He got a big extension a few years back and Notre Dame will not want to buy it out because of all the money they ow him no mater what

2.The team will be better this year then last. For one all there starters last year are returning and have another season under there belt which will make a big difference. Jimmie Clausen completed 57 percent of his passes last year and with almost all there wide receivers returning he should become a much better qb and lead them to a solid season. Not to mention Robert Hughes who will become a house hold name this season averaged 5.5 yards a carry last season as a freshman and had four td's. Plus almost all there other backs are still there so there offensive will be loaded and ready to keep Weis as there head coach.

3. They dont play to many good teams this season so getting into a bowl game wont be to hard considering there playing teams like San Diego State, North Carolina, Washington, Pitt, Navy, Syracuse, and some other teams like Purdue and Michigan which they have a shot to win making Weis there head coach for a few more seasons

Ahem Charlie Weiss' extension newest extension was completed a couple months ago and he will almost certainly be coaching Notre Dame into the dirt for 3-4 more years at least.
