Who had less then 100 yards last year, and has been in the NFL for less the five years, pick first argue later

My pick.....

Wallace Wright NYJ

Dwayne Jarrett - Carolina Panthers

I know most of you have never heard of Wallace Wright but trust me he will become a star. Wright is big at 6'1 and on the Jets for the final four games of the regular season and played on there practice squad in 06 but never really made a name for himself. This year he's second on the teams depth chart for second wide reciver which may not seem like much but when you watch him play its just amazing. Even in mini camp I saw him hustling for ever ball that was thrown his way and running solid routes. He may not be the fastest guy but makes up for that with good hands and is a great jumper. Being the fourth string wide reciever I still see him making a big impact and becoming a solid number two threat in the near future.

Also Jarrett has a tougher way to becoming the Panthers number two or three wide reciver.
He has to compete with Muhsin Muhammad who is way better then Brad Smith which really takes away from Jarretts chances to make plays

Moose was brought in to mentor Jarrett, and I really think its going to work to his advantage in the long run.

When you are talking about Dwayne you are talking about a guy who holds the PAC-10 career record for touchdown catches from only 3 years at USC. He's no Mike Williams, either. Jarrett proved he during college he could catch against some of the best when he tore through Michigan's vaunted secondary in the last Rose Bowl he played in.

True, Jarrett's NFL career has started in a very rocky way, but he has enough talent to settle and in and become comfortable. He has fantastic hands, great body control, and runs crisp routes. While he is not the fastest guy of the bunch, he's going to be playing beside Steve Smith who will definitely draw double, if not triple, coverage.

UNDER 100 YARDS WIDE RECIVING SAVAGE!!!!!

"Wright is big at 6'1 and on the Jets for the final four games of the regular season and played on there practice squad in 06 but never really made a name for himself."

So dude was on the practice squad for all of '06 and most of '07? If that's the case, then he's FAR from being a star or some team desperate for a WR would have snagged him quick. If you didn't know, any player on a teams practice squad can be signed at any time by any team.

"Even in mini camp I saw him hustling for ever ball that was thrown his way and running solid routes. "

Of course you did. He is a bubble player who could easily be cut. If he doesn't make good impressions early, it just makes his chance of getting cut that much higher.

"But still hes 6'1"

And? 6'1" is NOT tall for a slow receiver.

Randy Moss is 6'4 and FAST
Terrel Owens is 6'3 and FAST
Larry Fitzgerald is 6'3 and FAST

By comparison your guy is a slow midget. ;-)

Too bad Kellen Clemens is his QB. ------------->

Moss agreed
T.O. agreed
Fitz.... well he is SLOW, not at all fast. True he is tall but he is surely not fast.
