List your team in the first argument, then make your point of view in second and third.

My team will be the New York Yankees. Will explain why in the next argument.

As far as which team actually needs to make trades (and not who will make the most or biggest)...

...I'd have to go with the Cleveland Indians.

I chose New York Yankees because they need a pitcher since they lost their ace for a couple of months. They just can't win because they have one of the best offense in the league. They need pitching. In order to be back in the playoff race, they need pitching. They almost get swept by the reds last series. They might make a run at C.C. Sabathia since Indians is another team who needs to make a trade. But the Yankees need to make a bigger trade. Yankees players keeps getting hurt and they need someone to fill their position spot. More to argue next. You are up.

So you basically admit in your argument that the Indians also need to make trades? Alright then...

The Yankees have both better pitching (4.10 ERA to 4.14) and hitting (.273 BA to .245). Normally by now, the Indians would be far out of the playoff race, in almost any other division, as their record stands at 35-41. Yet, they are only 6.5 games behind the White Sox.

Currently, Grady Sizemore has the best Batting Average on the Indians, at .266. That's right, the best batting average on the team is .266. The Yankees have SEVEN starters with a higher average. The Indians need hitting like no one else.

This leads to Sabathia. He has regained a lot of his former compsure (2-0 and 4 ER in his last 3 starts), and is in the last year of his contract. I doubt the Indians will try to re-sign him, as right now is the best time to trade him, while he's on the up. They desperately need hitting, and even pitching, as two of their starters (Carmona and Westbrook) are currently on the DL.

The Yankees right now have no starters on the DL except for Wang and the two poorly performing young guns (Hughes and Kennedy). Cleveland is missing Hafner, V Martinez, Carmona, Westbrook and Josh Barfield.

I cannot argue anything better than that. Good victory for you.

You too.

Why list just a team name first....you could have defended your choices in your 1st arguments....what a waste..

Cubs.

If they get 1 more big pitcher or hitter, they could seriously do it. They could seriously win. They're almost there right now.

Well this TD has many possibilities. I dont see anywhere that the team has to be a contender. Just a thought. I dont think I'm helping anyone there.
