Just because of the finals don't change your opinion. If I were to start a team and I had the choice between kobe and lebron. I'd go with kobe everytime. There is a reason he is the black mamba. He has the inside game and the outside game. He is an excellent defensive player. He is the best all around player in the NBA currently. LeBron will no doubt in my mind become a better player then Kobe. But, till then there is no doubt Kobe is the superior player. LeBron still has work to do on his defense. And don't give me that Kobe needs Shaq. The Kobe/Shaq lakers never had to face a celtics team with a big three like the 08 celtics. so bottom line kobe>lebron

If you compare the two's stats, you can easily tell that your claim is obviously false...
Lebron averages 30 ppg, Kobe averages 28 ppg, so Lebron's the better scorer...
Lebron averages 7.9 rebounds per game, Kobe averages 6.3, so Lebrons a better rebounder..
Lebron averages 7.2 assist per game, Kobe averages 5.4 assist per game, So Lebron has better court awarness and passing ability....
Both average 1.8 steals per game, so they tie on that......
Lebron averages 1.1 Blocks per game, while Kobe averages 0.5 blocks per game, so Lebron's a better post defender...
Lebron has a 48.4 FG% on the year, while Kobe has a 45.9 FG%, so Lebron makes more shots from the field...
Lebron plays 40.9 minutes per game, while Kobe plays 38.9 minutes per game, so Lebron plays more minutes than Kobe....
Lebron wins 7-0 with one tie in steals, so there is nothing that Kobe can do that Lebron can't do better...

it wasn't about lebron, he made the passes sure. but he a lot of help from his team, a lot. wally and delonte west had great games. Gasol was just so inconsistent and lamar odom had too many horrible games.

is the celtics were in a funk at the time during the cavaliers only winning home games, they get over that after the pistons series and then road wins came easier and they were like the celtics that won 66 games again. The hawks got them to 7 games to, doesn't mean I am gonna say josh smith is the best nba player...

"Just because of the finals don't change your opinion"
How can we not change our opinions after the way Kobe performed in the biggest series of his career. He was downright awful at times, while Lebron James nearly beat that same Celtic team with a far inferior squad.

To START a team, Lebron the wise choice would be. YOUNG is he. Even more powerful will he become.

Kobe punked out in the Finals. At least that shut everyone up about the whole Kobe/ MJ thing.
LeBron seemingly has more talent and better numbers.

well....its your first td so its totally understandable....the numbers dont lie and lebron is just physically bigger and stronger than kobe..lebron doesnt have any "stars" on his team....."yet" and he took the celtics to more games than kobe did with gasol and odom...Nets, you need to look up the information and be sure about your opinion before you start your own td's...

in the nba numbers are waht matter and 3 ringers to lebron 0 rings is easy reason to believe kobe is better then lebron. and if you wanan talk about not performing in the finals talk about the 2007 finals. how did lebron perform against a superior defensive team like the spurs, he didn't exactly. And I will never compare kobe to mj because bottom line no one who actually saw jordan play will agree with that. Till LeBron gets the ring, I won't give him the respect. So when you compare numbers, compare the rings.

Blowout. It's funny how fannation voters sway with the wind. I saw this same TD before game 1 of the finals and Kobe blew out Bron. Bron hasn't played a game since then and he's back on top
