My choice - Allegheny County, PA.

Crawford, Mississippi.

From this town whose last census population was a whopping 655 came arguably the NFL's most talented player of all time, Jerry Rice.

In order for Allegheny County to compete per capita, they would have had to produce 1,956 Hall of Fame caliber players. I'm not thinking this is the case.

Seriously? I post a topic to try and pit southern cal or Miami area, or perhaps a region of Ohio or New York, against southwestern PA and the best you can do is try a trap of semantics?

Whatever, if all you are looking for is a cheap win instead of a little intelligent debate, I'll just forfeit and try out the topic with someone who wants to do some research. Let me know.

In the meantime, here's my list of NFL greats all born in Allegheny county. No it's not 1,956, but it's impressive nonetheless:
Johnny Unitas
Dan Marino
Jim Kelly
Curtis Martin
Mike Ditka
Bill Fralic
George Blanda
Randy White
Jason Taylor
Joe Schmidt (HoF linebacker)

and those are just the HoF caliber NFLers
Mercury Morris
Lavar Arrington
Kevan Barlow
Charlie Batch

and coaches
Bill Cowher
Chuck Knox
Marvin Lewis
Mike McCarthy

Have a real list that's better? Let's see it.

It has also produced

This isn't a semantic argument. I actually spent quite a while researching this. Crawford, MS was has produced the best NFL talent "per capita", and it really isn't even close, at least from what I was able to find.

I'm sorry that you either didn't realize what the term "per capita" meant, or that you decided to change the premise of the TD after you posted it, but you appear to be about 1,900 Hall of Fame caliber players short of being in any way correct.

OK, Counsellor, as I said, I'll forfeit and look for a legitimate argument. What a waste of time. Enjoy.

Well, to me, this was a clever move by cowace2. You said capita and that's what he gave. Vote to the .........................>
