I would have to take Gerald Wallace. I can't stand Rasheed's attitude, and while he is a great player, he would be a locker room distraction. Ben Wallace is a amazing defensive player, but lacks any kind of offense. Gerald Wallace is a good defender who can put points on the board and is very athletic.

Although he has an attitude im going to have to go with SHEED he does it all. he is a post player he is a three point shooter and he plays defense with players always worrying about his shot blocking capability, gerald is a good player but he is not the player that rasheed is, and sometimes that attitude is something that can fire up a team so for my team if i need a wallace im taking rasheed

Gerald is also still young and could be cashing in on free agency this year. Even if he stays with the Bobcats he will most likely be their no.1 option and could be a all star as early as this upcoming season...if he stays healthy. Wallace also takes it to the basket more and doesn't settle for outside shots all the time. Attitude is also everything with overall team player. I know the Pistons have a good team with wallace but they seem to be sick of him finally.

Young doesnt matter here bec were talking right now and i want someone hu can grab boards shoot the three and play the low post all while play great defense down low blocking shots, gerald wallace is a slasher and not even that great of a shooter, he wil see less shots with morrison coming into his second year and with whoever they draft, ill take a big guy who will shoot or play low post instead of a sf that cant shoot

Gerald plays great defense as well too.
Lets compare the stats now.
Rasheed averaged 12.4 pts, 7.2 rpg, 1.7 ast, 1 spg,and 1.6 bpg
Gerald averaged 18.1 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 2.6 ast, 2 spg, and 1 block per game.

Better scoring, same rebouding, more assists, and more defense with the steals and blocks.

Plus he is younger, better attitude, and quicker.

he had more scoring because he had less ppl on his team to score, rasheed doesnt need to score as much with chauncey rip and tayshun to help also thats a career year for gerald there is no promising he can do it again, second the rebounds if u honestly think gerald is a better rebounder or equall to than rasheed u have a screw loose. Im taking sheed

Both wrong, scorers are a dime a dozen in the NBA right now. Ain't nobody out there that can play D and board like Ben.

June 26, 2007  12:22 PM ET

Your stats are incorrect buddy. Sheed had 14.3 ppg and 7.7 rpg. I am always suspicious of people who slip in little lies to bolster their argument.

Playing on a loaded Pistons team has deflated Sheeds numbers. Gerald will never reach the heights of performance that Sheed has reached.

I'd take Gerald Wallace.

June 26, 2007  12:23 PM ET

Ok, where did you get those stats from?

June 26, 2007  12:24 PM ET

From yahoo sports..

Get YOUR facts straight before accusing me of lying.

NBA.com. I think they should be more credible than yahoo for basketball players, don't you think? You can thank yahoo for misleading you, the source you use is very important for credibility.

June 26, 2007  01:58 PM ET

Such as yourself BTW. Not anybody else. Just you and my dear friend mutapa.

June 26, 2007  02:01 PM ET

Im dumb because id rather have a proven 6'11 guy hu can go inside shoot the three rebound and block shots instead of a one year wonder who is a slasher who cant shoot the ball right, i was thinking ur the dumb one

June 26, 2007  02:04 PM ET

How is he a one year wonder when he has been developing for the past 3 years. Plus you clearly stated you wanted to base this off of right now, not what they've done in the past.

June 26, 2007  02:05 PM ET

ya and right now he still is the better player its proven from the past they he will be better also not to mention if the bobcats select green or brewer he loses shots and playing time

June 26, 2007  02:06 PM ET

You keep bringing up the past. WHAT IS YOUR MALFUNCTION MAN? Make up your mind, right now or past? And now your talking about future with Green or Brewer when the draft hasn't even happened. and I said who would you want on YOUR team. Not the Bobcats.
