As an ode to the SI Staffers' recent TD:
http://www.fannation.com/throwdowns/show/191283

Porkins and I will discuss our fantasy teams and who will beat who without providing any listings of team members or a link to any team information, thus, you the voters will just have to decide for yourselves who has the better team.

My QB will throw for more yards and less picks than the scrub for a QB you have.

My RB is bigger and less injury prone than yours so I win that battle.

My Kicker (though not an idiot drunk like yours) is lights out.

Bring it on - prove that your team is better.

Have you been in the airplace glue again, old man?

Your QB might- MIGHT- have more yardage, but I guarantee he'll also be among the league-leaders in sacks. Not to mention the guy protects the football like Britney Spears protects a baby.

My QB isn't as flashy, but he'll throw for more TDs, and has better scrambling ability, so I win that one.

Yes, my RB may have had some injury trouble in the past, but he's a beast of a play-maker. Your guy needs good blocking to open things up while mine can make his own magic. That plus a nose for the endzone equals HUGE points.

I'll give you the edge as far as kickers go. I just hope your guy doesn't face any pressure since he's been known to choke like Bush eating pretzels.

You left out the guys who catch! Both my wideouts have a huge height advantage, and my TE knows how to go over the middle. Your TE only knows how to go to the buffet.

I win.

You forgot my D.....my D feasts on QBs like any team playing the Bears!

The only thing your RB has a nose for is the stuff that many a Dallas Cowboy has been arrested for in the past!

You also forgot the schedule we each have - I, being the commisioner of the league, put myself in the same division as the bunch of 1st graders we found to fill spots while your in the same division as some of the best members of Fannation - you'll be lucky to even get 1 win in that division while I, unlike the Choketriots of this past season, will go undefeated through all my games, not 99.9% of them

Oh, nice- throw out the old drug allegations at ME?? Nevermind the fact that your "possession receiver" should be called a "possession with intent to sell receiver".

Besides, people CAN make mistakes and then come back from them you know. Unlike you- who will NEVER come back from the mistake you made on defense. Did you even both to check their stats from last year?

Those guys gave it up faster than A-Rod at a Madonna look-alike party. You say they feast on QBs...I say they should take a break from overeating to look over their shoulders at yet ANOTHER RB who just broke 100 yards by the third quarter.

Weak.

Anyway, as for the schedules, we'll see what happens. Your lack of depth is going to jump up and bite you no matter how weak your division is. All it takes is one guy going down and wham...you're cellar-dwelling.

Your undefeated prediction is about as likely as Cooper Manning making it back-to back-to back for Archie's boys.

I don't have the strongest starters, but I have the depth and balance to keep my team in the mix week after week even if someone goes down. It's a long season, baby. One of is prepared, and it ain't you...

From your last argument - All it takes is one guy going down

you would know!

Depth and balance mean squat because right before the draft I made fumbles and INTs and Sacks by the QB worth +10 points each! I reversed all the scoring.....hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

They don't call me the Emperor for nothing! You were all wondering why I drafted the guys I did? Now you know! TDs and yards lose you points - giving up sacks, throwing the ball away etc all get you points! You guys all drafted the best available, I drafted the worse avaiable, even those bengals players who's only participation in the NFL this season is begging the commish to let them play!

Suckers!

So you're saying that your team will beat mine because you cheated? That's just sad. Hasn't anyone ever told you that cheaters never truly win?

Say hello to my little friend...Karma. He was hanging out in Phoenix earlier this year, and he helped dole out a little justice. Be forewarned. But come on...is this going to be about your megalomaniacal desire to control the fantasy universe or the quality of our teams?

Anyone looking at our rosters can see my edge at WR and TE, and I've covered that already, so that 3 slots for me.

I still say your QB's pick production will be balanced by inability to stay upright in backfield. His release is slower than a Vince Wolfork marathon. He's going to be dropped like a prom dress. He's going to have more balls slapped in his face than...well you get the idea.

My guy doesn't have the cannon for an arm, but he's got a brain, which goes a long way these days. Plus, the offensive scheme favors his abilities. So while your QB is running for the sideline like a little girl, mine will be executing yet another 10 yard out-and-up. BOOM.

My guys own the gridiron. You couldn't be emperor of my barbeque.

July 7, 2008  01:11 PM ET
