The team with the best draft in this past years draft was the Kansas City Chiefs. They did the best job addressing all their immediate needs with their picks.
They got arguably the best defensive player in the draft in Glenn Dorsey, then they follow that up by filling a huge hole in their line in Branden Albert

The rest of their draft:
Brandon Flowers
Jamaal Charles
Brad Cottam
DaJuan Morgan
Will Franklin
Brandon Carr
Barry Richardson
Kevin Robinson
Brian Johnson
Michael Merritt

Dorsey falling to the Chiefs was fortunate, as he comes to the Chiefs following a very decorated college career

Albert was the guy the Chiefs coveted at the start of the draft, and he will most likely start immediately. Seeing as the Chiefs had one of the worst lines in the league last year, he can't start soon enough

Flowers is a 2 time all-american corner who will probably start on dime packages, but will slide into the starting corners spot in a few years

Charles comes from Texas, and is lightning quick and was a steal at pick #73. He will be a great backup for LJ, and with LJ's injury issues, picking Charles here was no-brainer.

So their first 4 picks were outstanding, rest of their draft next

Great pick/arguement duq...let's see what I can come up with. Choosing against the Chiefs was something I anticipated, so here's my counter:

America's Team itself: The Dallas Cowboys.

They got:

Felix Jones
Mike Jenkins
Martellus Bennett
Tashard Choice
Orlando Scandrick
Erik Walden

Felix Jones - Jones was selected with the 22nd overall pick. He's a great pick at that spot because the Cowboys were unsure of the status of Julius Jones. In the end Julis left, but Felix will take his place as the back up. Felix was a stud in College, but he was overshadowed by Darren McFadden. He reels off long runs and even though he's small he packs a punch, and is quick, with a 4.47 in the 40 yard dash at the NFL Combine...good enough to be in the Top 10. He also ranked Top 10 in the vertical jump and broad jump.

Mike Jenkins - He was the 3rd overall CB selected in the Draft. He was in the Top 10 among CBs in the 40 yard dash and has great upside. Jenkins was mainly selected because the Cowboys were loking for young talent on the defensive side of the ball and he provides that. Jenkins is the future cornerback and will definitely make a difference.

More to come.

Dallas had an OK draft picking up Jones and Jenkins, however, their draft falls off significantly after those picks

Felix Jones wasnt even the best RB on his team last year. The only bright side is that he's used to splitting time at RB which he will be doing if he hopes to be on the field. Mendenhall was available, and being a Steelers fan, I'm glad the 'boys passed on him

1 of the biggest needs for Dallas wasn't even addressed with this draft: a wide receiver.

With Owens and Glenn over 30, the Cowboys needed to draft a speedy WR for when Glenn moves on. As none were drafted, the Cowboys lose an entire year of grooming a replacement. No WR were taken in the first round, so plenty were available for them to trade up a few picks in the second.

They used their 25th pick to draft Jenkins, but they also have Pacman (excuse me Adam) Jones and Terrence Newman. So it looksl ike Jenkins won't be starting this year, and will have to move into a dime corner role

The 'boys also drafted no one on the OL, another need

Finally, it must be noted, not 1 of their draft picks will be penciled in as a starter come week 1, while at least 2 of the Chiefs picks will be starting (Dorsey and Albert

Forfeited Turn

Sorry to see you missed your turn.... I'll play fair and just offer only a line or 2 more:

KC's receiving corps are weak at best after Bowe, so 4th rounder William Franklin should get a lot of PT and contribute right away.

5th Round pick Brandon Carr should step into the Nickle corner role right away.

So KC had the much better draft at filling their needs than Dallas did

Don't think anyone can really argue against this one.

I think Duquesne has already won it. Every draft expert picked the KC Chiefs. If dudeman can wriggle out a victory he deserves a medal

Buffalo got the #1 CB and WR on most peoples boards

I know...But I would be BLASTED if I were to take the TD and argue for the Bills
