Sorry about Cy, thats my fault

M- Mays v. Marichal
Mays is the best all around player to ever play. Period.

N- Niekro v. Newhouser
Niekro had 318 wins to Newhouser's 207. Newhouser may have had the better ERA with 3.06 to Niekro's 3.36, but the wins is what puts you in the Hall.

P- Palmer v. Perez
Pitcher vs. batter. Perez had 2,732 hits and 379 homeruns. Palmer had 268 wins and a 2.86 ERA. Perez was 2/8 against Palmer with 3 walks, 3 K's, and a RBI. In the end, Perez had nearly 3,000 hits and 400 HRs.

S- Seaver v. Schmidt
Schmidt was the greatest ever at his position. Seaver was not. 548 Jacks and 2234 hits for Schmidt as well as 3 MVP awards. Seaver had 311 wins and a 2.86 ERA with 3 CYs. If you look at it, like i said, Schmidt is the best 3rd baseman ever.

T- Frank Thomas vs. Pie Traynor
I bet you dont even know who Pie is. He played only 1941 games and had 2416 hits with a BA of .320. Frank has the HRs on him, but he has a lower BA and only 30 more hits in 300 more games.

More later.

N- Niekro v. Newhouser
Guess you didnt know Hal was in the hall. Anyway Hal was the only pitcher in league history to win back to back MVP awards a feat that will never happen again. Anyway Phil threw over 3,000 more pitches and almost 400 games the Hal so his numbers should be better. And Hal has a better era and winning percentage which shows he was the better pitcher

Juan Marichal had a career 2.89era, 243wins, 2,000strikeouts, and a .631winning percentage which is amazing

P- Palmer v. Perez
The numbers favor Palmer he won 268with only a 2.86era which is better then most pitchers while 2700 hits and 400 hrs isnt nearly as great. Plus Palmer was on six championship teams and never allowed a grand slam in his career something that is unheard of considering how long he played

S - Seaver v. Schmidt
How can Schmidt be the best third baseman ever, he had a .267lifetime average which is worse then players like Kevin Millar so how could he be the best 3b ever because it is George Brett. Anyway its even here and can go either way but Seaver hasd a slight edge because he could strikeout batters win games and have a low era

Yes I do know who Pie is but Thomas is better

Out of Room

N- Yes, I knew Newhouser was in the HOF. And MVPs are just awards. Many MVPs have gone on and had crap careers.

M- 660 HRs, 3283 hits, .302 BA, and 12 Gikd Gloves beats Marichal stats all day

P- Palmer was on 3 Championship teams-66, 70, and 83. He was in 6 World Series. You said it yourself, Palmer played long. His stats will be high.

S- So he batted .267. Sammy Sosa is a career .273 hitter. Only a difference of .006. And he is the best 3B ever.

V- Dazzy Vance v. Arky Vaughn
Vance had a 3.24 ERA with only 197 wins in 16 years. Arky batted .318 with 2103 hits and 356 doubles.

Z- Carlos Zambrano v. Todd Zeile
92 wins and a 3.36 ERA. Ziele had 2004 hits and 253 Jacks.

N- How many pitchers have won back to back MVP awards, not that many and that along with the200 wins and a 3.06 era shows he was a better pitcher then Niekro and one of if not the most underrated player ever

P- 19 seasons to 23 seasons, and in those 19 seasons he did more then Perez did in23 by winning three cy youngs, having eight20 win seasons and never allowing a grand slam which is amazing and a feat that will hardly ever be matched

Seaver had a career 2.68 era which is amazing considering most pitchers would be happy just to have one season with that era and its the lowest career era in the modern era which is better then guys like Sandy Koufax and Nolan Ryan. Seaver also transformed the mets from losers to winners and also holds the NL record for career strikeouts which all together shows hes better then Schmidt

Thomas has a career .302 average, over 2448 hits, 520 homeruns, 1700 rbis and got walked 1652 times which are incredible numbers better thenPies

Vance would have won more games if his team didnt always blow them and gave him more run support but still a 3.24era with almost200 wins is great

When Zambranos done, he'll have over 200 wins, 2,000 ks and era under 3.5

Y- Cy Young

You didn't follow your own rules

However put Marichal over Mays is inexcusable. In my opinion, Mays is the greatest baseball player who ever lived, apart from Babe Ruth
