Nope....Cause I said so...j/k
Seriously, they dont have that easy of a schedule as they did last season. They have to play Indy, SD, Seattle, and Pitt. The Bills and Jets were **Cough HORRID Cough** last season but have upgraded accordingly. They took a look at how the Giants were able to beat the Pats.....
The Jets beefed up both LOS with Faneca, Gholston, Ellis, Jenkins, and so on. Dont forget David Harris and D. Revis also. They should be much bigger contributors...Faneca, Ferguson and Mangold should pave the way for Washington and Jones to have very respectable seasons. They wont be the best team in the NFL, but they have a shot at the most improved from last season.
Buffalo added Stroud and Spencer Johnson on the DL. No more double teams for Schobel. He has made the last 2 PB's some how on a horrid DL. Now with a legit PBer right next to him in Stroud, Look out. Dont forget out Mitchell from the SB champs and Poz comming back healthy to boost a injury depleted LB core....And then there is McKelvin and Mcgee at the CB spot. Mcgee turned out to be a LEGIT #1 CB in the NFL, but behind him was NOTHING. I refer to McKelvin and Mcgee as...."McCoverage"

Run the Table.
ok.
2-0 vs Miami - I won;t argue this since you didn';t
2-0 vs the Jets.
Yes they did beef up the Defense - congrats- but they have 2 SERIOUS problems in beating the Pats.
1. the Pats have a changed secondary -yet the Jets are not going to be a threat passing the ball as long as Chad is the QB- Hoodie has seen WAY too much of Chad to not know how to beat him- The hoodie could leave his D at home and pick up Rutgers D and win this game.
Chad is 1-10 vs the Pats in his career (missed one game)
2. The Pats play the Cheifs, then the JETs in week 2.
The Jets get the Fins and then the Pats.
Both weak opponents- but the Cheifs are in the same boat as the Jets- upgraded D- good running game- no passing.
the Pats are a ALL-MADDEN verson of the ROOKIE Fins.
Buffalo should be MUCH improved, and unlike the other two teams should have a good shot to beat the Pats.
One major issue.
They don;t play until week 10 and week 17.
If they played in week 3 or week 1 then I would give them a 50/50 shot to win that game- playing that late in the season and the Pats Secondary should be coming into playoff form.
Home Feild may on Week 17

"They don't play until week 10 and week 17.

Ok....Here is the scenario.
Week 17
December 18, 2008
Orchard Park NY
Ralph Wilson Stadium
The Pats come in already at 13-2...They have already clinched the AFC East and a first round bye.
Buffalo comes into the game at 9-6 needing the last game to even have a chance at a wild card spot
Now the Pats will rest MOST starters in the second half, maybe even a little late in the second quarter...They dont want to get anyone hurt because we all know that they have a legit shot of being back in the SB. If the Pats werent 15-0 in week 17, Im willing to bet my left nut that Billicheat would have rested some key guys. He will rest most starters simply because they wont be 15-0 when they role into Buffalo in LATE December. Buffalo isnt the easist place to win, let alone with 70,000+ fans screaming to see a decade long playoff drought END

Ok, going with your "dream Senario"
the Pats are 13-2 - Facing Buffalo
Denver is 13-2 and facing the 9-6 Chargers - and the same situation faces those clubs as well
Tennessee is 13-2 and is facing the 9-6 Indianapolis Colts
(hey If buffalo is 9-6 this year- Tenn and Denver can get to 13-2)
Not Buying it? Ok reverse the teams then.
Another issue to look at is the NE/Buffalo game is a 1:00PM game- the Colts play at 1 as well and the Chargers at 4:15
not that it should matter but the Ravens, Browns (vs) Steelers are all 1:00 PM games as well
So the Hoodie will not know if he CAN rest anyone to get home feild.
Plus that game is IN BUFFALO (or Toronto) So the Pass will not be used that much- and the Pats will be looking to work on that RUNNING GAME to get ready for the playoffs so THEY DON:T blow the Supe again.

Running game??? Running game???
Do you need to be reminded who is in the Bills front 7???
DE - Aaron Schobel: Made the last 2 PB's
DT - Marcus Stroud: 3x AP 3X PBer
DT - Spencer Johson: Rotational Starter with the Williams Boys
DE - Chris Kelsay: Not great but good
LB - K Mitchell: From SB Champs Giants
LB - Poz: HE"S BACK!!!!!
LB - Angelo Crowell: 330 Tackles in the last 3 season's
I really dont think the running game of the Pats is gonna be that effecitve on the Bills. This D is completely different than the D the Pats faced last season. In both games vs the Pats, Poz NEVER played......As well as Ko Simpson the starting FS. The Bills D is gonna be thier strongest part of the team. I think thier offense will be much improved from last season, but it wont be as big of a factor as the D. The D is what will carry this team all the way to the edge of the playoffs...
By the way...The game is IN BUFFALO. Only 1 regular season game per year will be played in Toronto and this year its Miami. Dont ask me why the NFL decided to take a home game away from the Bills vs a division rival.....That make's little sense to me but is for another TD.
Good TD DAVE

So does that mean that he is going to be the MONSTER post surgury that he was PRE? - keep in mind he is still basically a rookie this year.
Welcome to the SHOW ROOK!
I know you are a Bills H O M E R - I mean might as well scribble SIMPSON on a Jersey and wear it
(yes I went there)
But the Bills are the Bills, and Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas are NOT walking through that door, Sorry.
Yes they will be improved
Yes they have a CHANCE to get a wildcard spot.
but no they will NOT be beating the Pats this year.
Pretty good- you dropped the Fins round1
Dropped the Jets round 2
and you concede week 10 round 3
Seems like 7-0 going into week 17 for the Hoodie
and if the Pats have anything to play for- and I think they will-
the Hoodie will NOT be resting ANYONE in Buffalo.
8-0 for the Pats in 2008!
