I'll start off with the O-Lines. Cal's is led by one of the best O-Lineman in the nation in Center Alex Mack.T Mike Tepper has also led this O-line. The Golden Bears have only allowed 24 total sacks in the past two years, the third lowest total in the nation. Oregon gave up 24 sacks last year. I think Cal wins this battle.
Ed Dickson is a very solid Tight End, but I think that Gronkowski is better. The Arizona TE caught for nearly 100 more yards and had 3 more touchdown catches plus he'll be a major target again this year. I think Gronkowski gets the edge.
Patrick Turner wasn't the main target for USC last year but he could've put up much bigger numbers. Jaison Williams only caught 7 more passes than Turner but dealted out almost 300 more yards and 5 more touchdowns.
I think McKnight and Herring are even. McKnight has more talent than Herring but he's also in a two back system. Herring has more experience, better numbers last year, and he's going to get more carries than McKnight, which will probably mean better numbers this year too.

Alex Mack is a great center. Probably the second best in the Pac-10. The better one plays for Oregon. Max Unger is an All-American caliber center. The Oregon offensive line was key in giving Jonathan Stewart and Dennis Dixon all that space to run. Mark Lewis is another offensive lineman from Oregon who could be an All-Pac 10 player.
Dickson and Gronkowski are two completely different tight ends in two completely different systems. Dickson is a great tight end in the spread. He has a lot of receptions (43 compared to Gronkowski's 28). Dickson is a better tight end for his team than Gronkowski.
Patrick Turner was the second target in his offense, but he was very close to Williams in numbers. Fred Davis was the big play man and the endzone threat. This year, Turner's numbers will far surpass Williams'.
Joe McKnight could end up starting over Johnson. McKnight is the ultimate dual-threat in the Pac-10. He is an amazing runner with breakaway speed, and he also is a good target out of the backfield. He averaged 5.7 ypc last season and had 610 carries. Even in a two back system he will have a better season than Herring.
