Fedor beat Tim Sylvia the ex. UFC heavyweight champ in 36 seconds. I've never seen anthing like last night. He is the MJ of MMA! Tim Sylvia is not a scrub but looked like one last night. It took Randy Couture 5 rounds to beat the "Maniac". Fedor is ice cold and Couture is the 2nd best bottom line.

That was a great fight and Fedor may be the best but I'm going to say Anderson Silva. His knock out on Saturday against James Irvin was vicious! Irvin face looked like someone took an axe to it.
Silva was so dominate in the middle weight that he moved up to the light heavyweight and dominated there.
And Most MMA site's have Anderson Silva as the best pound for pound fighter out there! And I'm not going to disagree.
Mr. Tie= Peach said 07/20, 09:26 PM
Silva dominates no doubt. Fedor has only lose 1 fight in his career. Spider is the best middleweight I've seen but Fedor is Heavyweight and fights challenges all the time of heighth and weight. Look at last night... Fedor was 8 inches shorter then Syliva. Fedor came in a dominated one of UFC's best heavyweight champs with EASE!
Professional record:
Silva: 22-4
Fedor: 29-1!
Fedor and Spider are explosive but Fedor fights the biggest of biggest. Fedor is recognized as the best fighter in the world and i saw why last night.

Ok, Fedor has the better recored but this TD is who is the best fighter right now, not the best recored. Also I would argue if Timmy was one of UFC's best heavyweight champs.
Fedor hasn't fought anyone with creditability since 2005 (besides Timmy) and has only fought 8 times! He was become a circus act fighting men like Hong-Man Choi the 7 foot 2 giant!
While Silva has fought 11 times against opponents like Dan Henderson (Pride Welterweight champion), Rich Franklin 2x by TKO, Travis Lutter, Jorge Rivera and the list goes on.
I would rank Fedor #2 behind Silva and Dana White back's me up! (I dont know if that will help my case :)

Tim Sylvia going into this fight w/ Fedor was 24-4. How can you say he is not one of the best UFC heavyweight champs? Sylvia beat Pitbull twice, Jeff Monson, Brandon Vera and fought a classic but failed w/ Nogueiro.
Spider is the best pound for pound but Fedor is the #1 fighter in the World. Even if you think Tim is not a good heavyweigt champ it doesn't matter. Fedor exposed this guy when they bell rang.
Emelianenko has been considered the best heavyweight fighter in the world for the last five years by many major publications, including ESPN, the Orange County Register, The Fight Network, the Houston Chronicle, The Wrestling Observer, and Inside MMA.[ WIKI encylopedia
Fedor: His sole loss, via doctor stoppage due to a cut via an illegal blow, is considered a mere technicality, he avenged that loss.
Wiki
Fedor Emelianenko has beaten Mirco Cro Cop, UFC's current heavyweight champ, Kevin Randleman, Gary Coolridge, Tim Sylvia, Heath Herring, and Renato Sobral. Fedor is the best in the world w/ Spider a close second. Fedor has avenged all his losses. Fedor is also 2-0 against UFC's current heavyweight champ. Can we say the best? I can!
Hank Hill said 07/20, 10:29 PM
Fedor only loss was BS but the competition that Silva has faced is easily better then Fedor's in the past few years. I'm not going to argue against Fedor anymore he is by far the best Heavyweight in the world and is exciting to watch.
So heres my case for Silva.
Has not lost since 2005 (besides the BS kick to the head with no warning to Yushin Okamio.)
7-0 in the UFC (the Premiere MMA league since Pride) five of those bouts by TKO/KO.
Curentlly holds:
UFC Middleweight Champion
Current Cage Rage Middleweight Champion
Shooto Middleweight Championship (2001)
Is ranked the #1 Pound 4 Pound fighter by ESPN, CBS Sports, Sherdog, Yahoo Sports, Brawl Sports, MMA Punch

i love anderson, i love bj, but fedor is above them all he very well could be the GOAT if he would take even one fight in the UFC to fight Randy, I think he beats Randy but he needs to get in the Octagon to truly erase all haters.

Fedors only loss was due to a doctors stoppage, and he killed the guy who beat him in a rematch, he murdered Mirko Cro Cop.

Excellent TD guys. Good cases made for each guy.
My thoughts...
Peachy's 3rd argument says..."Spider is the best pound for pound but Fedor is the #1 fighter in the World"
Well, if Peachy concedes that Spider is BEST pound for pound, then how is Fedor the BEST HANDS DOWN? (like it says in the title).
If Fedor is the BEST 'Hands Down' (and Peachy makes a good case that he is), then Peachy should have just argued that Fedor is the best pound for pound.
You left yourself open there Peachy for Hank to steal my vote from you.
