1. No stealing my idea
2. No Pushing- pick a side and argue
3. If you don't LIKE the TD concept- then go start your own TDs and get the SMURF offa mine.

Will the W/L of the PACKERS improve or Decline

My Pick Decline

**Must Declare the Brett is going to stay or go in FIRST Arguement**

I beleive that The Packers Will actually improve on there record. Now I know Many people dont agree but Let me explain a little bit.

Brett Favre is gone but He didnt actually play that well ast year, his WRs made him look atlot better Than he was palying. He had Great Depth at WR which didnt let the other team double team everyone. Favre had alot of Yds because Both jennings and Driver Were in the Top 10 in Yards after catch. Favre would Make alot of easy throws and Deep passes. He wasnt making any Really hard throws. Rodgers wont have to make alot of hard Throws and make tough throws, he just has to throw a few slants and let his WRs break them for big plays, The same with the deep ball.

I say 14-2 Because their team is so solid. They have Grant Who in 7 starts had 956 yds. Which is a 136 Yds a game average. which would put him well over 2,000 yds. Then their 5 very good WRs, an dA o-line that aloud only 19 sacks which is 3rd in the NFL. They have a Great d-line rotation with pro-bowler kampman and KGB. They have 2 great young linebackers in barnett and hawk. Plus Bigby, harris, and woodson in the secondary

Overall they have maybe the most balanced team in the league.

You had it right there

Grant Who

you cannot honestly think that he is going to come off the Giants Cut list and bust out 2000 Yards.

I'll be honest I like this team- I have them picked to take the Div with or without Brett- Problem is, Brett is going to be an issue ALL year.

and the DIV has gotten better and I don;t think the Packers have.

They Play Dallas, Indy, @ Jags

I can see three losses right there
Add to that a VASTLY improved Minny team, going to Seattle
plus going TO T-Bay, New Orleans

That is a pretty good run there for 2 losses

Now the big problem here-

Interior Line Play - Spitz impresses me a little but Barbe is nothing- and sorry Wells is not going to Hawaii anytime soon either.

The Front seven is nice - LOVE AJ Hawk BTW, but Harrell did JACKlast year and Jolly is still hurting- and what about Jenkins- have they benched him yet?

and that D-Backs, they are uh OLD 31 and 33 at the corners and (LA TECH LOVE) williams is NOT going to be ready to step in THIS year.

Balanced yes,
Better no- add to that a MUCH tougher Sched

not going 14-2 with or without Favre

Forfeited Turn

Well since you missed your third arguement, I won't harp too much more here.

Well actually you did get 3 arguements but two of them Look VERY CLOSE.

But I won;t pound on it here.

I agree on decline. It's hard to switch QBs and come back with a clear division win. Rodgers will be good, but I expect growing pains out of the gate for at least a half season.

July 22, 2008  09:16 PM ET

howd it get posted 2x

July 23, 2008  01:40 PM ET

Not sure why it posted twice, especially since it was way wrong the first time. "Brett Favre didn't actually play well last year" ****! He had his third best statistical year in his 16 year career. Did you even watch any football last season?

That being said, with as good a team as they have around Rodgers, 13-3 is incredibly hard to improve on. Personally as a GB fan, I'll be very happy with 10 wins this year.

Didn't realize that W T F would be censored.

July 23, 2008  01:50 PM ET

I didnt mean he was bad or wasnt good I meant he wasnt as good as People think. He had a great year but largely due do his WRs and easy scheme

July 23, 2008  04:52 PM ET

c''mon he didnt even argue yet, Please let us argue.

July 24, 2008  04:23 AM ET

The Packers have a good team.
But 14-2? Not a chance.

July 24, 2008  09:35 AM ET

Decline for sure...

July 24, 2008  01:57 PM ET

I know its far fetched but vote on arguments

I don't think Packers will increase (and i'm a packer fan) but we have got to vote on arguements.

<----------ARGUEMENTS------------>

Arguements could go either way here but I am going to throw Fanman a bone here.

July 24, 2008  06:21 PM ET

I was gone today And couldnt get in an argument.

July 24, 2008  06:37 PM ET

What? It posted my 1st argument twice, not fair

July 24, 2008  06:48 PM ET

I don't think GB will go 14-2, but you can't discredit Grant's production last year. He gave them a running game, which can't be said for others that tried to do so last year before Grant. Still, my vote is <----------
