Superstar playoff bust squad. (current or couple years back) Starting 5 w/ coach and should have at least 3 differences.

Peachy wants 300 wins! (255-575-107) vs T-fo is Medium Pimpin' (127-64-14)

C Shaq (two early exits in the 1st round thanks to the Bulls and Spurs)
PF Dirk Nowitzki (contributed to one of the biggest upsets in playoff history w/ Baron Davis and the Warriors two years ago and the Kidd trade didn't pan out)
SF Carmello Anthony (Laker's sweep)
SG T-Mac (this is an obvious one. T-Mac had a great season in my opinion w/ leading the consecutive streak and running for MVP because of it but 0-8 in the 1st rd)
PG Steve Nash ( Spurs twice have elimated the top pg)

Coach: Flip Saunders, is 0-3 in the conference finals the last 3 seasons.

Also, this doesn't mean they are NOT good in the playoffs but went under expected teamwise in the playoffs the last couple of years. Good luck!


C YAO MING (for a premier big man, hasn't done squat)
PF Nowitski
SF Carmello
SG T-Mac
PG JASON KIDD (failure after failure)

Coach GEORGE KARL (1st round exits the last five years)

So my differences are Yao, Kidd and Karl


Yao can't even stay healthy to get to the playoffs.

I take Shaq over Yao because Shaq's teams should get to the semi's.

Jason Kidd is a good one but Nash should be able to get at least back to the Conference finals but now with cp3 and tony p it's going to be even harder.

Karl vs Flip

Both playoff busts. Karl still has his job.


George Karl is a tremendous LIFETIME bust. Why he is considered as a great or even good coach is beyond me. In 2o seasons coaching he has made the playoffs 17 times. That's 17 chances to succeed in the playoffs. The result? TEN 1st round playoff exits. TEN! That includes the last five seasons in a row and seven of his last eight trips to the playoffs. That is a playoff bust of epic proportions.

I just don't see how you can call Shaq a bust in the playoffs. If you are talking about now, then he can't even be considered as a superstar as a player. At his age he's no longer a featured performer. For his career, the man has a fistful of rings, won championships with two teams and made the finals with three. How is that a bust?

Look, I'm the first to admit there aren't too many premier big men in today's game. But I'm not about to call Dwight Howard a bust. Yao, however is. Although he was injured this year, he did, in fact, go to the playoffs the previous 3 years and never made a deep impact.

I'm out of space so will discuss Kidd vs. Nash in Round 3.

Nash=NO finals appearances
Kidd=2 case closed


So Shaq, at the end of a stellar career, is a playoff bust despite his championships.
The much-hyped Yao Ming gets a quick exit each and every time he makes a playoff appearance, and suddenly his playoff career is considered better? Please.


In 20 years of coaching, George Karl makes 1 Finals appearance (and loses) then proceeds to get his **** handed to him nearly every year in the 1st round.
Flip Saunders wins TEN playoff games each of the last three years while Karl goes 1 and 4, 1 and 4, and 0-4 over the same time period. This was supposed to be recent right? You tell me who was worse.

Kidd(on left) vs. Nash in playoffs:
Kidd (105 games in 14 yrs Nash 102 in 12 yrs)
FG %: 39.5 - 46.7%
3pt%: 30.2% - 41.3%
FT%: 77% - 90%
TO: 3.25 - 3.14
PPG: 15.5 - 17.3
Nash outperformed Kidd in every single one of these categories.
Kidd dished out .5 more assists per game, 9.2 - 8.7.

But just look at all the other disparity. Neither has won the finals, but if you are talking about playoff performance, Nash has outperformed Kidd. Case closed.

Yo,yo, yo! Cowboy, you would be impressed. I picked Romo as my starting qb for fantasy football. I do like the cowboys but i don't like TO's character nor Wade Philips. I'm a Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin type of guy.
