If they are going to play for a National Title ever year it should atleat be a competitive game. Its best they play against Appy State as opposed to getting trashed by another real D1 team.

What? If they were dropped to Division 2, they would DOMINANT, and it wouldn't even be close for Applacian State.
They are a TOP team in a TOP conference (the Big 10). They are one of the BEST college foootball teams in the NATION.
You are saying that they deserve to be division 2 because they lose in the national CHAMPIONSHIP. Plus, who says they don't have the capability to win this year? Just because they have lost 2 National Championship games in a row, doens't mean that they should be dropped to Division 2.
2 teams make the National Championship a year. ONE team has to win and one team has to LOSE. Ohio State is good enough to go to the National Championship, lose, go to it again the NEXT year, lose, but then be a top team AGAIN this year, and be predicted to make the National Championship AGAIN for the 3rd year in a row!
They might have lost the last two National Championships, but that doesn't mean they should just be dropped to division 2.

Ok, dominate Appy??? Incase you forgot Appy beat the other Big10 power in their house last year.
Bottom line is this, they get there b/c they are in the Big10 and White America considers it a power conference. Fact is, that half of the OSU starters are white. Now call it racist, counter racist, reverse racist, facist, communist or whatever you want we all know that white guys dont make up the majority of a major football team for a reason.
Simply put, OSU should be dropped to D2. They are going to play for the title b/c White America runs the show and they want OSU there b/c of the race make-up. Thats fine but lets not insult real football for this reason. Put them in D2 and everyone can be happy.

Ya...Ohio State is a TOP team in the Nation and would've beat Appy State. Duke or some team is worse, don't know if there is one, should move down to D2 play. They would have a better playing field there.
Big 10 is a power conference. Wisconsin/Penn State/Ohio State/Michigan (sorta)/Purdue/Michigan State/Illinois/Iowa....all of those teams are good. The Big 10 is the third best conference in the Nation, IMO, behind the SEC and Pac-10.
Why would you want to move a TOP tier team to Division 2? That wouldn't be any fun to watch for D2 fans at all.
What does the Ohio State starters being white have to do with anything? Ya...it is racist...and that really has NOTHING to do with this TD. Does that really supply a reason to this TD?
They are bringing in a TOP QB recruit in Terrell Pryor. Is he white? No..he is black. I don't think you need black, white, green, purple, or blue players to be a powerhouse...it just matters how much you win, and Ohio State wins plenty.
They don't want OSU there because they are all white, they want OSU there because they DESERVE to be there, and they are a TOP school in the nation. Who is going to be happy with Ohio State in D2?

Ohio State is a good team. There are a LOT of teams that are worse than Ohio State, that are still in division 1...Duke comes to mind there.
Ohio State is, sadly, the best team in the Big 10, and they shouldn't be brough down to division 2 because that would be asinine.

Report Offensive Commenti think Frank has it slightly backwards...dont punish the good teams, punish the bad ones...its clear teams like Duke and Northwestern cant compete in D-1 football, so take the worst team from D-1 and drop them to D-2 the next year, and the D-2 winner gets that spot in D-1. Do that every year, it could make things interesting. We know Appy State can beat D-1 teams, so we know they wont have trouble competing. It'll change the landscape of CFB and make things a tad more interesting
