I will take Dorsey as a worse pick than Bosworth.
Here is a quote from Dorsey during the Pre-Draft med checks:
"There are no health concerns to my knowledge. I haven't missed a game at LSU since I've been there. Everybody gets nicked up. That's the way I look at it. I played every game at LSU my whole four years there so I don???t think it???s a problem at all."
Ok, maybe he did play in every game: As an SEC Fan who will watch MS vs MS St over Michigan vs OSU, I can guarantee he spent 2 plays hurt on the sideline the last 2 seasons for every 1 play he was on the field.
Statistically he's not that great, thats even considering that the School keeps defensive stats and hypes players as needed. There are NFL Dt's who average more sacks per game than Dorsey did in college. Dont say he was doubled b/c he wasnt. He was the 4th best Defensive Lineman at LSU last year.
Think about it, The announcers credited Dorsey with the block in the Natl Champ game and it wasnt him. We now know it wasnt but who was given the credit at the time????
Bottom line, ESPN said he was GOD preseason and wouldnt admit they were wrong.
Bosworth for next argument.

Frank.
Take your pills Stop hiding them under your tongue and spitting them out when the orderly turns his back.
Whether you like him or not, I'm not buying the ESPN conspiracy theory. Or the Outland trophy conspiracy theory. Nor any conspiracies by those who name All-SEC, All Americans, Lombardi Awards, or any other that Dorsey won. Here's the consensus among those in the know regarding Dorsey:
2007 SEC D player of the year
2 time 1st team All American
2 time all SEC
2007 winner of Outland Trophy, Lombardi Award, Lott Trophy and Bronco Nagurski trophy.
Those in the know have spoken and pronounced Dorsey as an excellent football player. The scouting department of the Chiefs staked their careers on Dorsey by taking him as a top 5 draft pick.
Now lil old YOU stands up and shouts that he is a bust before he plays ONE SNAP in the NFL.
As your missus probably sez, "Premature Frank, premature."
In Bosworth we have a known quantity. A big fat bust. Let's at least wait until Dorsey plays the game to make any such proclamation.
Frank Pentangelli said 07/23, 01:39 PM
All your awards are simply honors of popularity to those who were given popularity by the media, in truth every award is indirectly given by ESPN.
2007 SEC D player of the year - He was the 9th best D player on his own team, Probably around 75th in the SEC
2 time 1st team All American - Popularity contest
2 time all SEC - Popularity Contest
2007 winner of Outland Trophy, Lombardi Award, Lott Trophy and Bronco Nagurski trophy. - Popularity contest, Popularity contest, Popularity contest, and Popularity contest
Its kind of like John Lynch going to the ProBowl ever year when hes the worst Starting FS in the NFL
Something people dont know: Tackle/Sack stats are awarded to LSU players by LSU, same with TN: For example Jonathan Heffney (senior) is listed as TN's 2nd leading tackler last year when in truth (from someone at every home game) he had 0 (yes count them 0) solo tackles in the last 2 seasons.
Dorsey is a big, fat, flabby armed joke. Noone can honestly say the sat and watched an LSU game last year and were impressed (unless your sexually attracted to him and enjoyed the fact that half the game was spent watching him roll around on the turf moaning.

Comedy and madness are definitely your forte Frank. It's just great that since you have eased up a bit on NMI as the Evil Empire that you have found a newer more evil villain in that great puppet master....ESPN.
What I'm most curious about (other than how many suns are in the sky in your world) is WHY this vast conspiracy exists. All these awards which you claim are "popularity contests". All these various voters. Do you think they had a secret meeting over at the Waffle House and decided: "Well, it's done then. We shall falsely promote the career and accomplishments of....
Glen Dorsey
Why Frank, why?
What ill-gotten gain, what filthy lucre, was stolen from the common man by ESPN to falsely proclaim Dorsey as a legitimate football player.
What horrible photos does Dorsey have of Herm Edwards so utterly reprehensible that the Chiefs surrendered a top 5 pick and tens of millions of dollars to keep in hiding.
Please to enlighten us Frank. Seriously. I can hardly wait.
Frank Pentangelli said 07/23, 02:00 PM
OK, Im not sure why you have to take my logical and factual points out of the equation and turn this into a personal issue regarding myself and my beliefs; however, I refuse to play along.
Thus far I have stated:
Dorsey, even with inflated stats is not that impressive statistically.
Dorsey, even though he played IN every game he only participates in about 33% of the plays
Dorsey, Is fat and has Flabby Arms.
Awards and recognition (as we all know is true) in sports are simply Popularity Contests.
ESPN said he was good, they were wrong but wouldnt admit it and (as we all know is true) sports fans as a majority only know what ESPN tells them. The Chiefs and other early drafters are obligated financially through the collective bargaining agreement to draft the big names the NCAA marketing has created.
Bosworth: Contrary to popular belief he did lead the Seahawks in Tackles and made the All Rookie team in 1987. Point is that Bosworth actually did play. Dorsey will never make it past the first week of Camp. KC is rebuilding team and cant afford to lose the practice time to watch him roll around on the field and moan.
T-fo is Medium Pimpin' said 07/23, 02:26 PM
Ok Frank, since you refuse to see this as the farce that it is, lets look at your "facts":
Dorsey, even with inflated stats is not that impressive statistically.
Dorsey, even though he played IN every game he only participates in about 33% of the plays
IF DORSEY ONLY PLAYED IN 1/3 OF THE SNAPS, THAT MAKES HIS NUMBERS INCREDIBLE.
Dorsey, Is fat and has Flabby Arms
KIND OF LIKE THAT OTHER BUST, WHAT WAS HIS NAME??? OH, WARREN SAPP.
Awards and recognition (as we all know is true) in sports are simply Popularity Contests.
SO IS THE US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, BUT WE STILL PUT THE WINNER OF A POPULARITY CONTEST IN CHARGE OF OUR NUKE CODES RIGHT?
ESPN said he was good, they were wrong but wouldnt admit it and (as we all know is true) sports fans as a majority only know what ESPN tells them. The Chiefs and other early drafters are obligated financially through the collective bargaining agreement to draft the big names the NCAA marketing has created.
UH???? SORRY, WHAT FACTS ARE HERE? SOMEONE, HELP!
Your last paragraph...
Bosworth: was a bust
Dorsey: Can we at least wait until he plays? P

Well dang, I wish Frank had been in the Chiefs warroom on draft day. Such logical, compelling, and well reasoned arguments are so rare these days.

So far T-Fo is cutting off all the exits. Frank you need a very compelling reason why several scouts of the Chiefs, who undoubtedly watched every game Dorsey played (since their careers hang in the balance) would take Dorsey if he sucks as much as you seem to think.

i was easily going right but then you just compared dorsey to the popularity contest
to that of our president... the biggest flop of them all... who didnt even win the
majority of his votes it the first election making it not a popularity contest.

and your officially a complete moron...he wasnt doubled? so wait it must be on your tv you cant see him getting held back by the center and guard of every oline they played against...the school hypes up stats? not only is that not true thats impossible..everygame is on national TV as for why they would do that im not sure you think they want the best DT in college football get drafted?
as for his sacks? how many nfl player average 17 sacks a game?
