Wake Forrest vs. FSU
Wake has 19 returning starters, FSU has 16 returning starters
Wake has a great starting QB, No one is really sure what'sgonna happen with FSU's QB situation.
according to Athlon's top 25 poll Wake Forest plays 1 top 25 team all season long, FSU plays 4 (3 in ACC play)
So it seems obvious which is better to me.
Miami vs North Carolina
North Carolina is getting 18 starters back, Miami is gettig 9 starters back.
North Carolina has there QB, Miami has 2 freshmen fighting for the starting Job that have never taken a snap in a game
What else is there to say?
Maryland vs. FSU
Maryland is getting 18 starters back, FSU is getting 16
Maryland has 8 seniors coming back ona defense that ranked in the top 25 in the country last season, FSU has 4 seniors on a defense thatranked 42nd in the nation last year.
Once again, no one has any idea what FSU's gonna do with Drew Weatherford,
Good Luck Irish

Florida State v. Wake Forest
There isn't a big controversy at QB for FSU. Drew Weatherford is the starter, and he played well last year. He's got two of the best receivers in the conference in Greg Carr and Preston Parker. Antone Smith is a great running back as well. Wake Forest lost their top 2 receivers along their sacks leader (Thompson). They do not generate a big pass rush, and they will be able to be picked apart through the air.
Miami v. UNC
Miami may not be returning a lot of starters, but they are returning a lot of the big contributors. Javaris James and Graig Cooper are returning, and both of them are phenomenal running backs. The defense is returning some of their best run stoppers in Colin McCarthy and Darryl Sharpton (combined 16 TFLs). They have one of the top recruiting classes in the nation, and Marcus Forston and Arthur Brown should make an imediate contribution.
UNC is too inexperienced to win even thought they have 18 returning starters.
Maryland v. WF
Maryland has the best WR (Heyward-Bey) in the conference, and they have experience on defense. Wake Forest has been on a downslide since their BCS Bowl appearance and that will continue

Your Joking, how did you get that record with arguments like this?
Also, Clemson's Aaron Kelly and North Cari's Hakeem Kicks have much better stats than Heyward. also last season Wake went 9-4 that's not to bad considering the hard road they had in non-conference play.
Miami- NC
"UNC is too inexperienced to win even thought they have 18 returning starters"
Breakdown of UNC's projected starting line-up
0 freshmen
5 sophomores
7 Juniors
10 Seniors
they don't seem very inexperienced to me...
Florida State v. Wake Forest
Wake isn't gonna be that bad passing defense, they are getting there entire secondary back, plus there entire Linebacking core, the only place where they lost starters is on the D-line, so if there is anywhere to worry about it's the rushing defense, and they ranked 15th in the nation last year in that category.

Report Offensive CommentHow has Wake been on a downslide? They went 9-4 and their QB was hurt for several games. Plus they won their bowl game against the co-champion of the big east, a game they were picked to lose.
And that was with a sophomore QB and a freshman RB. The only thing that they lost are their WRs but considering Wake is built on the running game, defense, and special teams that shouldnt matter too much.
