I take issue with the order of the 3 and 4 games

the Rams scored 3 points in the first Q of the game. - then JACK until 930 left in the Game-

Lotta Nuthing there they went a combined 5/13 and 2/11 on third down

in SUper Bowl 38 - it was 14-10 at half time- and 32-29 at the end-

7. The Panthers and Rams 2003

8 The Tuck Game (your Number 10)

9 New Orleans Saints 31, St. Louis Rams 28 December 30, 2000

-- Kinda odd here- the Saints First ever Playoff game
31-7 lead with 11:57 remaining.- and the Greatest Show on Turf makes a comeback.

10. Atlanta Falcons 30, Minnesota Vikings 27 (OT)

How can you miss this one? The Anderson Game?

The Falcon Viking 98 playoff game was good, I considered putting it on my list. The Vikings had firm control of this game. They were up 20-7 right before the half, however they fumbled and the Falcons snuck in a TD right before halftime. Then up 27-20, all the Vikings had to do was make a 39 yard field goal to put the game away, but the kicker shanked it, the Falcons scored the tying TD, then won it in O.T. It was a very good game, just not top 10

The Saint Ram game didn't even come to mind for this list. As you said, the Saints were up 24 points in the 4th, the Rams reeled off 3 straight TD's, but the reason this game wasn't great was because the Rams, who were about to get possesion, fumbled the punt return, so thus, no real drama occured at the end of the game

The two differences I have were two wildcard thrillers from the NFC

The 49er Giant game was a classic. The Giants were up 38-14 with just 19 minutes to play, but the 49ers stormed back, unbelievably took a 1 point lead with 1 minute to go. The Giants responded, drove into field goal range, but their snapper muffs his second snap of the game, the holder throws up a prayer pass, and thus the 2nd largest comeback

If the Minny/ATL game happened another year when Elway DIDN;T dominate the playoffs - or had the Falcons won the SuperBowl- this game would be MUCH more remembered-

But you have the underdog Falcons- with Dan Reeves trying to get the Elway monkey off his back, Jamal Anderson and the gang.

VS

Cris Carter and Randy Moss trying to get to the Super Bowl- Jonh Randle trying to finally get a ring, Dennis Green trying to get a Ring etc etc.

High Drama for the sport- then the PERFECT kicker misses what was for him an EASY kick.

the fact that this game was the high water mark for BOTH teams shows how important it was.

Theres obviously no point to even wasting a final argument. Good TD, still don't know how it was 8-0 after 3 arguments, considering we had two differences. But I won't take away from your win. Congrats, hopefully the voters will wait a little bit longer

Sorry it happened that way.

At least you have your Lombardi trophy to keep you warm

2003 Kansas City v. Indianapolis. No Punts.

July 23, 2008  07:32 PM ET

HOW CAN NEITHER OF YOU HAVE THE MUSIC CITY MIRACLE???

That game broke my heart. I died inside after that die, and only came back to life after watching the Titans fall in the Super Bowl (heh heh, Dyson).

July 23, 2008  07:34 PM ET

replace die with game

July 23, 2008  07:38 PM ET

I think Super Bowl 34 is the best, game came within one yard of having a different champion

July 23, 2008  07:40 PM ET

What about the Eagles Packers playoff game. 4th and 26 anyone?

July 23, 2008  07:41 PM ET

I think Super Bowl 34 is the best, game came within one yard of having a different champion

Hamilton**MVP | 07/23/08, 07:38 PM

No it didn't, it came within 1 yd of going into overtime.

July 23, 2008  07:41 PM ET

Seriously, though, Music City Miracle is the definition of excitement.

July 23, 2008  07:55 PM ET

Super Bowl 38 is the best one, a game that was supposed to be dominated by Defense all the sudden became a very exciting, multiple-lead changing game that came down to a FG... ****

July 23, 2008  08:00 PM ET

ooops. got cut off. 2nd largest comeback: in playoff history

July 23, 2008  08:15 PM ET

As a fan of defensive football, it was incredible watching the Bucs completely shut down the great '99 Rams offense for 3 1/2 quarters. It was a shame how that great effort went to waste.

July 23, 2008  08:19 PM ET

OMG! 42 IS NOT #1 NO **** WAY!

July 23, 2008  08:21 PM ET

Colts-Steelers Vandershank game that kept the "can't win a big game" label firmly on Peyton Mannings resume' for another year.

July 23, 2008  08:50 PM ET

Hahaha, how the hell is it 7-0 after 3 arguments when David's made one, and we only have two differences?

July 23, 2008  09:12 PM ET

Titans/Bills - Music City Miracle. One of the greatest games I've ever seen in person.

July 23, 2008  09:24 PM ET

how is Super Bowl XLII #1? It was about 3 and half quarters of boring-ness follwed by 5 min of a getting a nut from the excitement.

July 23, 2008  09:33 PM ET

this superbowl wasnt exciting at all it was bery boring

July 24, 2008  09:25 AM ET

Gotta argee with the Pimp the Tuck game should have been higher

July 25, 2008  03:39 AM ET

The tuck game was awesome. One game I'm thinking of though is the Redskins and Bucs don't remember the year. I just remember the long snapper costing the game for the skins. Great defensive game. I'll also take any of the NFC championship games between the Cowboys and the 49ers

July 25, 2008  03:39 AM ET

whoops forgot about the last 10 year rule lol

July 25, 2008  04:20 AM ET
