Can't use people who we're undrafted that year (Ben Wallace). Can't change the players natural position so if he's listed at SG can't play PG or SF(Kobe). If a player is listed as F/C he can be used at PF or C. A forward can be used as a small or power forward. Allen Iverson can be used as PG or SG, as well as Stephon Marbury.
PG- Steve Nash
SG- Kobe Bryant
SF- Peja Stojakovic
PF- Jermaine O'Neal
C- Marcus Camby

Not a WHOLE lot of wiggle room here
Paja
18.2 ppg 5.0rpg 1.9 apg 0.1 bpg 1.0 spg
Walker
17.5 ppg 7.7rpg 3.5 apg 0.5 bpg 1.2 spg
So I'll trade 0.7ppg for 2.7rpg, 1.6apg, 0.4 bpg 0.2spg
My OTHER pick is at PF
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
18.1 ppg 7.5rpg 0.8bpg 2.5apg 1.0spg
O'Neal
14.4 ppg 7.7rpg 1.9bpg 1.5apg 0.5spg
3.7 ppg 1.0 apg 0.5 spg I'll take over 0.2rpg and 1.1bpg
so there is 2 diff for you.

Well lets consider you had this starting five since 1996 to this upcoming season. Peja has re-booted his career in New Orleans and is considered a really improtant starter and role player to that championship-caliber team. While Antoine Walker can't do anything off the bench anymore. You barely hear his name anymore, and he's reduced to very little, while Peja still has one of the smoothest shots in the game. Antoine Walker's ego makes him lose on this one. Peja has been on an All-NBA team once, Walker never has and they both have 3 All-Star appereances.
The first thing that Jermaine O'Neal brings that Shareef Abdur-Rahim doesn't even close too is his defense is extremely better. Jermaine O'Neal has been on a championship contender, Shareef has played only 6 playoff games. Last season Abdur-Rahm played only 6 games and averaged only 1.7 ppg. While Jermaine O'Neal has supposedly re-booted his career and now he has lifted the Raptors to contention (I say this loosely). Also O'Neal is a 6 Time All-Star, 3 time All-NBA, NBA Most Improved player, and many franchise records for the Pacers. Shareef Abdur-Rahim has no notable career highlights to speak of.

Jermaine O'Neal VS Shareef Abdur-Rahim
You state that O'Neal has played more playoff games that SAR had
Lets see, O'neal was drafted to the Wallace,Rider and Kenny Anderson Blazers- and sat on the bench- then got sent to the Pacers with Reggie Miller and Jalen Rose - until he developed
SAR went to that POWERHOUSE known as the Vancouver Grizzlies, then went to that Dynasty known as the Atlanta Hawks- then off to portland for a cup of coffee and now to the Kings- where he is admittedly the 3rd option on that team.
So who do YOU think had the harder road to his playoff games? O'neal got 20 games of Playoff XP while in portland averaging 10 minutes a game.
Lets breakdown the scoring shall we?
Years scoring LESS than 5ppg
4 years for O'Neal - That would be ZERO for SAR
Years scoring between 5-10 PPG
0 O'neal - only his final year playing only 6 games for SAR
Years scoring between 10-15 PPG
2 O'neal - and only his NEXT to last year for SAR
Years scoring between 15-20 PPG
2 O'neal - EIGHT YEARS for SAR - and SIX of those are 18-19 PPG
Years scoring between 20+ PPG
4 years compared to 2 years for SAR
as Far as D is concerned NEITHER have made the All D teams

You didn't say anything about Antoine Walker, but I've got one more thing to say about him. When he was asked why he takes so many 3s he said "Because there are no 4s."
Now at the beginning of his career Jermaine O'Neal played on contenders so he didn't get many mpg, which meant not so many points. But he gained valuable exp. like what its like to be in a heat of a race or the emotions and atmosphere of getting into a deep playoff run. O'Neal average 11.1 mpg over his first 4 seasons SAR avg was 37.1. When O'Neal was finally given the oppurtunity to start he got the NBA's most improved player award, and he became and instant double-double machine, while SAR never was that kind of force around the basket. In the seasons O'Neal has played 30+ mpg he avgs 19.5 ppg. SAR avgs 17.5 in the seasons he's played 30+ mpg and his production has clearly fell, while O'Neal's hasn't (last season he avg under 30 mpg). O'Neal is clearly the better rebounder because even with his bench sitting first 4 years he still avgs more rpg than SAR when matching career numbers. When O'Neal and SAR get an even amount of numbers O'Neal is the better player, accomplishing much more and doing more for his team.

Well I have 2 arguments left, and 2 people to argue.
Figured I'd go one at a time.
Peja vs Walker
Peja
18.2 ppg 5.0rpg 1.9 apg 0.1 bpg 1.0 spg
Walker
17.5 ppg 7.7rpg 3.5 apg 0.5 bpg 1.2 spg
Walker came into the ML Carr and Rick Pitino years- and with Peirce lead the Celtics to the Eastern Finals
Now you may think that Walker was only a scorer- but during the start of his career he was a much more complete player-
For example in 1997-98 NBA he was 12th in the MVP voting
Don;t sound like empty points to me
Peja on the other hand, was part of a MUCH more talented team in Sac-town and did JACK in the playoffs
Consider that 27% of all of Peja's shot attempts are 3s
Nothing like having a Forward hang around outside and bomb 3s
Let me ask you a question-
Who between the 2 has a top 10 finish in Rebounds?
That would be Walker
Who between the 2 has a top 10 finish in Steals
That would be Walker
Who has not one but TWO top 10 finishes in Points Per Game?
Peja has NONE of these- but he does have one top 10 finish
and is currently THIRD in TURNOVERS PCT- including leading the NBA last year.
Career wise- Walker is better across the board.
