NCAAF: Wisconsin will beat Michigan this year.

first of all, it is a home game for wisconsin but besides that UW returns all skill players on offense and they return almost everybody on defense and will be able to limit Michigan's offense.


Come on man lets be serious bout this right now. I know its nice to dream but that will never happen. Winsconsins defence or any defense in the country would have a hard time limiting Michigans offense which includes returning starters Chad Henne, Mike Hart and Mario Manningham. Michigan may have many new faces on defense but that was the same story for Ohio State last year before they cruised through the regular season (eventually losing to Florida in the BCS CHAMPIONSHIP).


wisconsin has a great d-line led by matt shaugnessy and they have atheletic LB's with levy, casillas, and hodge who could have started last year if not for zalewski. they will be able to slow down mike hart and then the secondary will be able to focus on henne and manningham.


The secondary can focus all they want on manningham because Michigan have Adrian Arrington who will be a starter this year for Michigan. He totalled 40 receptions for 554 yards and 8 touchdowns as the third wideout, he also is able to rise in the pressure situations as witnessed when he 90 yeards and a touchdown against Ohio State in the biggest game of the year.


even if arrington has a good game wisconsin we will still be able to put up points. like i said, all skill players return plus freshman and whatever quaterback starts for wisconsin will have enough games under their belt to be ready for the big game against michigan. the only argument that you have for michigans defense is what ohio st. did last year and it is not given that michigan will be able to do the same.


Yes Michigans defense is largely unproven and there are questions there which must be answered but at the end of the day we know any Michigan defense is going to be OK at least. The important matchup though lies with Michigans offense vs. Winsconsins Defense and they just do not have the big time players capable of slowing Michigans offense down long enough so their own offense can put up some points. Michigan has the BEST one, two, three punch in the nation in Henne, Manningham and Hart

I have to wait for the end to vote , but I wanted this throwdown because I don't think that Wisc. stands a chance. But I agree with outyler, big 10 overrated.

I care not whether the conference is overrated. Check my blog about why I prefer Michigan in the Big 10.

But honestly, Wisky does have best chance to dethrone Michigan as the favorite to win the B10 title. Wisky has a good d-line but Michigan probably has the best o-line in the country led by LT Jake Long (Big 10 OL of the Year last year, over Wisky's Joe Thomas might I add). Michigan's tremendous offense can overtake Wisky's good defense.

Wisconsin will have 11 returning starters. They have been predicted on SC that they will have the #1 D in the nation. They have two QBs to choose from, both have a lot of talent. And P.J. Hill will win the Heisman!

Michigan lost a bunch of their defense. Of course that was said about Ohio St. last year. And ppl say the conference is overrated b/c it's the best defensive conference. The average fan is attracted to high powered offense like the SEC. The Big 10 is a ground it out and pounding confrence.
